I have been receiving a full synthetic oil and filter change from Bill Estes since they were Bill Estes Chevrolet because of their $60 special. I booked the same special for yesterday and thought nothing when I saw the estimate I was given, so I was surprised when my invoice came back for $100. I was only told after they had completed everything that this special now only applies to Toyota vehicles. If I had known that beforehand, I would’ve left before my car was serviced. I always liked coming to Bill Estes, but I am disappointed that I ended up paying way outside of my budget and will have to get my car serviced elsewhere in the future. More

I strongly recommend having an independent mechanic thoroughly inspect any used vehicle before buying from Bill Estes. I recently purchased a used Toyota Sienna with 130,000 miles (which had a prior fr thoroughly inspect any used vehicle before buying from Bill Estes. I recently purchased a used Toyota Sienna with 130,000 miles (which had a prior front-end collision at 20k miles), and my experience has been incredibly disappointing. Within days of the purchase, I found several severe, undisclosed issues: 1. Unsafe Tires: The day after I bought the van, I had to replace the tires because a tire shop showed me the inner steel cords were entirely exposed. Bill Estes had just replaced the shocks prior to the sale, meaning their service department was working inches away from these exposed wires but put the unsafe tires back on and sold the vehicle to me anyway. 2. Broken Safety Equipment: The vehicle was sold to me with a completely non-functional seatbelt receiver. A seatbelt is a primary, legally required safety device, and it is incredibly alarming that a dealership would allow a vehicle to leave their lot knowing a passenger could not safely buckle in. (We failed to notice as we had a carseat in that position during the test drive) 3. Masked Mechanical Issues: While on the lot, the rear hatch would not open. The salesperson told me it was just because it was parked too close to another vehicle. They then showed me it opening, but I later realized they had turned the hybrid engine on to give the failing motor enough power to work. Once off the lot, the hatch motor failed completely and had to be replaced. 4. Questionable Body Work: While the van looked great on the lot, during a recent road trip, the side-view mirror separated and the front molding began coming apart. In my opinion, it appears the body panels were temporarily shaped to look good for a sale rather than being properly repaired, as they did not hold up to standard driving. Between the severe safety hazards of the tires and seatbelt, along with the undisclosed broken parts, I regret trusting this dealership. Proceed with caution. More
