When first entered the garage, had to wait 5 minutes before I was greeted with a service advisor even though I had a scheduled appointment. I dropped my car off for service and the advisor said it would before I was greeted with a service advisor even though I had a scheduled appointment. I dropped my car off for service and the advisor said it would be complete that evening or the next morning at the latest- when I didn't receive any notification in the afternoon of the next day I had to call to get an update. I would've preferred the advisor to notify me via text or some other method that the service was taking longer than expected. When I went to pick up the car, the advisor just directed me to the cashier without providing any information on the service that was performed (wheel balance and alignment). When I asked about the balance of the wheels the advisor didn't seem to know how out of balance the wheels were or what was done. Also, I was charged for a tire rotation despite not requesting that to be completed. Overall, a pretty mediocre experience at this dealership. More
I almost lost $6,000 to this dealer because they mis-diagnosed my vehicle. In March 2023, I had a regular oil change with this dealer and they reported everything looked good. Sent it to this dealer and they asked for $100 to check the engine. Two weeks later they called back and said the transmission system failed and it would cost me $6,000 to replace it since it was already out of the warranty. Some of my friends told me that a total transmission failure was extremally unlikely for an vehicle with less than 50K miles (6 years old). With just $100, they probably did not inspect my vehicle thoroughly or identify the real cause. I drove the vehicle to another GM dealer to get a second opinion. 3 days later, the second dealer told me that it was the valve that got stuck and they had fixed it. I only paid a total of $160 for everything. Bob Jeannotte Buick GMC was so irresponsible to their customers. They treated me unfairly in this case and barely did any thorough/effective inspection before asking for a huge amount for a transmission replacement. BTW, I had been using Bob Jeannotte Buick GMC since I bought my GMC from them in 2017. For most of my visits, the waiting time was long. They are inefficient in service too IMO. More
Went for a oil change and tire rotation. But only got oil change. Indifferent to my concerns. Usually service is very good here. Disappointing outcome. Going to have tires rotated elsewhere. My 2007 Yukon Denali was in for routine service and it was completed very timely. The only concern I have is that I did not receive a copy of the check points to indicate what items were checked off and was completed very timely. I had an oil change service at this dealership. It was not a pleasant one. The ladies at the service department and the casher just lied over and over again without a blink of an eye. At the very start , I asked the price of the service and pointed out that they had a promotion ( oil change and tire rotation for $49.99) at the time, the lady at the service department said " the total will be 60 + , they just changed price and have not update the web page ... but we will honor the price , but it is still going to be 60+, because you need to pay tax and fees ". well, after the service done, the final was 69.56. On the receipt , it says labor 28.95, parts 33.45 ,misc 4.86, and tax 2.3. Clearly , they honored 62.4 instead of $49.99. When I asked the casher, she said, the normal price is 70 + .... At the time, I knew it was better to just pay , an argument would make the experience even worse. So, be prepared if you have to use their service ! More
