Bomnin Chevrolet Dadeland

I was in the process of shopping on line for a new Corvette. The search revealed that Bomnin Chevrolet had a 2011 crystal red, 3LT coupe on their lot for $40,000 dollars. This price seemed too good to be true so I immediately contacted the dealership. I spoke to one of the owners, Arnaldo Bomnin, who stated that the vehicle had sustained very minor front body damage (bumper and fender)and had been repaired using all brand new parts and components (no repairs to existing body parts). He explained that I could come to the lot and see it the following day. I called Mr. Bomnin two days later and was told that when the car arrived back at the lot he was showing it to a customer and noticed problems with the paint job ("minor mis-match") in color. I was told the vehicle had been returned to the body shop to be repainted again. Mr. Bomnin stated he would contact me in a day or two when the vehicle was finished. About a week later Mr. Bomnin called me and said the vehicle was on the lot and ready to be delivered. We agreed to meet the following day at 10:00 am. I took the following day off of work and drove to the dealership to meet Mr. Bomnin and see the vehicle. When I arrived, neither Mr. Bomnin nor the vehicle were there and supposedly Mr. Bomnin could not be reached by phone. I was told by two other employees that the vehicle was still at the body shop having repairs performed and was not due to be back on the lot for another four or five days. Two weeks at the body shop and the run-around by the owner left me with questions regarding the actual extent of repairs to the vehicle. Needless to say, I have no intention of buying this vehicle, or any other, from Bomnin Chevrolet. More

They have no respect and lack of communication with costumer service. Never call you and when talking to them they refer to you as "dude". Just to sell some cars, they are redoing interios by replacing fabric with supposedly "leather" . IT IS A FAKE leather. After inquiring over the internet i speciafically asked if the vehicle picture was acurate to the specific vehicle i was looking at. Mr. Bomnin answer yes. Arnaldo convinced me yesterday to give a family owned business a chance and I'm glad I did. Service was courteous, treatment was respectful and for something really strange, they were genuine. The salesman Aaron was very truthful and very knowledgeable of the product for a young guy. He sold us the car not by lying to us and trying to trick us, but by telling us exactly what this car could and could not do. Miguel at financing was very courteous and not pushy. In fact he was the opposite and he was actually very quick. Later last night I noticed that I had a major issue with my lease and when I contacted him, Miguel was able to fix the issue and had the paperwork ready for me to re-sign today. His behavior and demeanor made me feel as if I was home. Finally, Arnaldo Bomnin convinced me to take a chance on him. The thing that sealed it for me was that when I got there to sign papers again this morning, he called my name and greeted me, as if he had known me forever. The reality is that he had never seen me. All in all a great first experience and a new customer who will be back again...Am I sorry to try the small, family owned business? No, actually, on the contrary... More
