Why drive 50 minutes to a dealership when you have at least four others within a closer proximity? 1) Price 2) People Sam Walton made a fortune bec Why drive 50 minutes to a dealership when you have at least four others within a closer proximity? 1) Price 2) People Sam Walton made a fortune because he was more concerned about volume than he was margin. Brandon Honda wants to sell cars. This is readily seen in how they treat customers. Personally, I don't like spending hours and hours haggling over prices in a dealership showroom. This is why I determine a price I'm willing to pay and then send out emails to all the dealerships within a 50 mile radius. This allows the various dealerships to bid on your business. First, Priscilla Prates from Brandon Honda was the only agent who remained in constant communication with me throughout our entire shopping process. Second, she offered us the best overall price of any other dealership. Third, she offered me 5 additional extras without my asking. Fourth, when a dealership closer to my home reluctantly agreed to match her price, albeit, without all the extras she offered me, Priscilla's manager called me up personally and undercut the price by another $500! Now, on the surface a $500 savings is great but not enough to get me to drive 50 minutes away to a dealership when I have to get my car serviced. But doesn't customer service count for something? I mean, one dealership was very aloof and reluctant to "match" Brandon's already great price while Brandon didn't "wait" to match anybody, they led the way! Then, they undercut their own price on top of that. For that price and that customer service, I'll make the drive! Guess what? My phone's still ringing from other dealerships who are still trying to find out "if I'm interested" in purchasing a car while Brandon Honda is hanging up plaque after plaque that says "Highest Volume Dealer in the State". Ironically, those dealerships that are HOLDING out for profit margin are not only losing MY business but they are losing all the recommendations from myself and others who will tell them where to go in the future. When did buying a automobile become so painless? Hard to know where to start with the folks at Brandon Honda. Scheduled a test drive of a new Honda Ridgeline via the internet. Within minutes, Internet Manager Ron Wright called to introduce himself and set a time for the test. The next morning, when we arrived the vehicle I had hoped for was parked outside the front door, spotless and ready to go. We felt very at ease with Ron, who was very knowledgeable about the features of the Ridgeline and allowed us to take a thorough test drive without feeling rushed. Ron answered every question or concern we expressed openly and really made us feel comfortable we made the right decision in choosing Brandon Honda. Ron introduced us to Executive Manager Clayton Mardis, who explained all our options in a straightforward, and understandable manner, again, making us feel we were valued as customers and not a sheet of numbers. We were treated to a nice lunch while things were being wrapped up, then introduced to Financial Services Manager Denise Dupelle. Denise made the chore of completing the paperwork as pleasant an experience as possible. Again, we never felt rushed and Denise, Ron and Clayton made us feel we were in control of the whole buying experience from start to finish. Now, thanks to Ron, Clayton, Denise and the rest of the good folks at Brandon Honda, I'm driving the vehicle I've been hoping for, and couldn't be happier! Robert and Julia Barthelette Jr. More

Because of this we decided to come to Brandon Honda from St. Pete. versus two closer dealers. He committed to get us in and out of the dealership within an hour and a half and he did just that. My sister took me to Brandon Honda and Mr. Afflitto was most attentive and informative. Because the car I was interested in was in the shop I felt it might be another dead end for me. SO NOT SO! Mr. Afflitto called me with information as to the progress on the 2001 Mercury Sable and would not let me be disappointed. He is most definitely an asset to the term Internet Manager. He knows his customers and accommodates in a very knowledgeable manner. I am pleased to have met him and will recommend both him and Brandon Honda to anyone. In this day and age it is refreshing to have a business such as Brandon Honda have an employee treat his customers like they were family.
