They refused to work on my less then 4 week old, 2025 Prius Prime. The manager there, Andrew Maravola told me (more like yelled) “Toyota can’t make me work on a car I don’t want to work on. Now get out o Prius Prime. The manager there, Andrew Maravola told me (more like yelled) “Toyota can’t make me work on a car I don’t want to work on. Now get out of here.” “And “This is my business, and no one can make me work on a car I don’t want to work on.” I have no idea why he escalated so much. I am just a paying customer doing what the Toyota Brand Engagement Center told me to do, which was to go to another dealer to get a second opinion on an ongoing issue. Toyota Corporate has been of no help, either, saying they can’t ask dealers to work on their own cars. I got a non-apology from their GSM, with nothing offered to make it right, and a refusal to ever work on the car in the future as long as I own it. Moral of the story, like another reviewer here said, they will not honor the warranty unless they feel like it. And like many other reviewers mentioned, they are rude beyond belief. More
Not a good customer service experience! People do not appear or are helpful. They don’t seem to care. Every time I walk into the service center, it’s the same disappointing experience. The employees either ignore you completely or act like they hate being there. I've yet to be treated with even the slightes disappointing experience. The employees either ignore you completely or act like they hate being there. I've yet to be treated with even the slightest bit of cordiality, which is honestly disheartening. It’s clear that the negative energy is contagious—it seems like the miserable attitude of the staff trickles down and affects everyone in the service center. I’ve spent over three hours waiting for something as simple as an oil change. The only reason I continue to come here is because my vehicle is still under warranty. But even when I bring in my car for a warranty issue, I’m made to feel like I don’t know what I’m talking about, and they try to make it seem like the issue probably isn’t covered. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing to receive such poor service at a place where you’re supposed to feel confident in your vehicle's care. More
The shadiest service department I have ever dealt with. They prey on elderly women like my mother. They broke the stud and lugnut on her vehicle and blamed after market lugnuts as the reason and wanted me to pay for their damages. They should have consulted us if they were having a hard time and before they even attempted to remove them. When I met my mother there who was flustered I was greeted by Mike Schneider who had a disgusting attitude and his manager Mike Cooper was even worse. I will never stop foot near Bredemann again. Take your business elsewhere because this dealership is one big scam. More
This was one-time experience: new car under warranty wouldn't start. Was towed to Bredemann Toyota, and they took care of it. Everything was perfect: promptly called as soon as the car arrived to them, wouldn't start. Was towed to Bredemann Toyota, and they took care of it. Everything was perfect: promptly called as soon as the car arrived to them, listened. suggested scheduled maintenance, explained what's covered; on the next day fixed the car, including replacing bad battery that failed load test; promptly called and said that the car is ready for pickup. The pickup itself was fast and with zero problems. I should mention that had the car not been under warranty, I wouldn't even think about going to _any_ dealership for repairs. More

The service/ manager/director refuses to honor any warranty and trains his employees to look for anything they can to avoid repairs under warranty. My car is still under 3 year 36k bumper to bumper but yet Toyota dealer won't honor it. The head service man is a very unprofessional individual that treat customers like no other. Told me to "go f my self" and to go the direction to where I got the Toyota from . This place is a big disappointment and I have purchased cars there because I trusted the name and brand that stands behind it. More
Mike Cooper is the most unprofessional so called “manager” I have ever had to deal with...zero stars. Customer service is horrible...go elsewhere without a doubt. I was about 200 miles out of state and my Highlander would not start. An alarming message came on the dash stating low brake pressure, stop immediately. I did not know if there was a problem with the would not start. An alarming message came on the dash stating low brake pressure, stop immediately. I did not know if there was a problem with the brakes or the battery or both. There were no Toyota dealers for about 30 miles so I called Bredeman where the car was purchased and had always been serviced. The service technician just blew me off and would not tell me if the car was safe to drive on the toll road which has a 70 mile/hour speed limit. He told me to have the car towed to the dealer, Since this was out of state and 200 miles away, this was not a practical solution, I had purchased a new battery there less than a year before this happened. I got the car jumped and got to an automotive parts store. The battery was dead so I bought a new battery and managed to drive back to Chicago. I took the car to Bredeman to have the battery and car serviced as the new battery died. The service manager told me they would not honor the 2 year warranty because I went else where to buy a new battery. So I agreed to pay $170 to have the battery checked and signed the paperwork. I went to the waiting room and after about 10 minutes the service manager came and called me out and said he decided that he would not service my car. I said I already signed the paperwork agreeing to pay the $170 charge. He repeated that he decided that he would not service my car, just take the keys and leave. So I took the keys and left. When I purchased the car I was bullied into buying a service contract for more than $1000 extra over the purchase price. Since they are refusing to service my car I doubt that this would be honored. AVOID BREDEMANN TOYOTA Service Department and Adviser Michael Schneider and his Service Manager, Mike Cooper, if you value integrity and don’t want to be fleeced, or worse, have your car damaged and inop Michael Schneider and his Service Manager, Mike Cooper, if you value integrity and don’t want to be fleeced, or worse, have your car damaged and inoperable. I brought my car in to evaluate why my brake reservoir was 95% full although it never leaked any brake fluid on the driveway. Michael Schneider walked me back to look at the car on a lift and only a portion of the brake hose that connected to the caliper looked somewhat shiny and needed replacing. I refused the first quote, which was $4200.00, and the second quote, which was only a slight amount less. I then was kept waiting a very long time for my car to be brought up. When brought to the service door, there was a rag placed near the tire and nearly all the brake fluid was gone! And a service employee ran up to me and asked how much I wanted for my car. Bottom line - I drove the car in with brake fluid and left with no brake fluid, only that which remained in the lines. I obviously couldn’t drive it back nearly ten miles, so took a risk driving it just a few blocks away after speaking with an engineer who did say that there would be some brake fluid left in the lines. Pictures taken hours after leaving the Bredemann dealership show very clearly that the mechanic cut my brake hose which caused massive loss of brake fluid. Brake hoses have several layers and reinforced wires. The photo shows a wire strand that is exposed and a very visible deep slash which was not present when I viewed the car on the lift. I contacted Corporate Toyota and was bounced back to Mike Cooper, the Service Manager, who was very nasty. He lied about rust on the brake line (photos show otherwise) and the 30+ year experience of the mechanic. The mechanic working on my car was a very young man. I called Corporate again and the representative confirmed that mechanics are paid per job which totally explains why the young mechanic caused egregious damage and why Michael Schneider and the mechanic, who was incentivized, did not want to leave me any option to drive my car. Online ratings show that Michael Schneider has a pattern of using similar strategies to inflate repair costs. Be warned that Michael Schneider, his mechanic, Mike Cooper, and Bredemann Toyota should not be trusted and avoided at all costs! More
