Where do I begin.....on July 25th, 2022, I saw a truck posted online that I wanted to purchase. I called CW Clarke before 8:00 and talked to a salesman and we discussed how to proceed. I was fortunate enough that they were mtg me half way in my state with the truck. We met and I signed all of the paperwork and paid with cash. Very grateful up to this point. I was given a 30 day temp tag that eventually ran out. When I called the dealership to ask about it, I was told that I could continue to drive it. When I inquired about the possibility of getting pulled over and getting a ticket, they told me that they would pay for any tickets I got. Have never been told that before when purchasing a vehicle. I sent a text to the salesman on August 20th and was told that everything was in processing. Sept 14th I was told they had the title. Oct 11th I was told it was being held up in my state's DMV. Oct 21st my DMV said they have no paperwork at all in their possession. On top of all of this, I didn't receive any paperwork stating I had purchased the vehicle until this week. I've had this truck since 7/26/22 and have only driven it 30 days. The dealer warranty was for 90 days or 3,000 miles. How fair is that since I've only been able to drive it for 30 of those days and I know that I haven't gone past 3,000 miles. They could have made things better by at least giving me another temporary tag that would have made things somewhat better. Then I would of had at least 30 more days to enjoy the truck and see if there were any repairs that would have been covered. So I guess that I could drive it the next 5 days to see if anything is wrong. Good thing is that they will pay for my tickets that I may get. How fair is all of this? 3 months to get a title. Of course, the owner will respond to this by saying to call the dealership in which I will hear more excuses and no results. So if you are here looking for advice on their business, ask to see the title before purchasing anything from them.👎 More

If they tell you you're buying the car as is, walk away. Don't buy anything without an independent pre-buy inspection, because once you've paid your money you'll get no satisfaction. Better Think Twice.. Bought a used vehicle the first week of January of 2019. The ONLY reason why we gave them as MUCH as 3 stars is because we were in an unusual financin Bought a used vehicle the first week of January of 2019. The ONLY reason why we gave them as MUCH as 3 stars is because we were in an unusual financing situation and they got the job done. Customer service was FANTASTIC... up until we signed on the bottom line. I realize they we did buy a used vehicle. HOWEVER, I have NEVER purchased a used vehicle for a dealership that I have had to sink so much time and money in within the first 7 months of owning it. It failed NJ inspection right from the door (needed a new Catalytic Converter, which, to be fair they DID cover) Both struts, both ball joints, and now a CV Joint. That does not include the full set of tires (that were appartently shot to xxxx when I bought it), the brakes and a host of other things that DO go under normal wear and tear, but when you combine it with the other parts it shows an overall lack of maintenance on the vehicle, and apparently CW Clarke did not bother to even LOOK at the vehicle to judge if it was even safe before selling it to a family with children. My advice... think twice and/or have a certified outside mechanic go over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb BEFORE you sign. And for the LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT take it to Term Automotive, they are in CW Clarke's pocket. We originally took it to them to have the vehicle looked at, they said nothing wrong, just needs a little bit of grease. WRONG. Ball joints shot and needed replacement. Lo and behold, replaced them and the problem stopped. Funny how that happened. More

I went in the following day and the manager renigged on the Agreement and said the car only had 40k miles on it. Just not a way to do business! VERY DISHONEST DEALERSHIP!! Part for 3rd break light does not take more then 2 days to get. You could not promise to fix the locks on my doors. Why is there ants in the car? I will be contacting Finance Co in a few days to make sure the contract has been cancelled.. I also told Art where to pick up car & they have the keys.I would also get rid of the ants. More
