My husband and I were NOT planning on buying a new truck! We had a 6 month old "new" truck from another manufacturer which we were becoming more and more displeased with. You have all heard this before "we just wanted to take a look"! (famous last words) so we stopped in to Miller's in Martinsburg. I immediately fell in love with the Dodge Ram 1500; at least everything I could see drooling through the window. Darren came out and introduced himself and Zakk and we took it for a test drive. I think they knew that was all it would take for us to be head-over-heels! They made some pretty grandiose promises in the beginning, which I was sure they weren't going to be able to deliver on, but they delivered on EVERY one of them. I must say we were shocked and surprised at what a GREAT deal we got, how friendly (not pushy) and how easy the whole process was. Ms. Karen Bell made my purchasing experience the very best that I have ever had. I have purchased several Jeeps in my life, but the experiences I have had have always left me feeling a bit uncomfortable and not quite satisfied. With Ms. Bell at Miller's, I felt welcome, appreciated, and informed. About 2 weeks ago, I walked into Miller's with hopes of finding a new Jeep. Normally, I like to shop for my vehicle with minimal interaction with a sales person because I always feel hounded. However, with Ms. Bell it was like coming home to visit with an old friend. She never made me feel pressured or uncomfortable and when I needed information she was always ready with what I needed. When it was known that what I wanted in a vehicle was not on the lot, Miller's management staff went to work on finding EXACTLY what I wanted; a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in "Red Rock" red and with the bells and whistles I was looking for. They had to bring this vehicle from a considerable distance, but I was willing to wait because of the excellent treatment I had received from all of the great folks there at Miller's. My experience at the dealership was very positive. The detailing department did a fabulous job on buffing out the hairline scratches on the side of the truck and also re-blacked the coverings around the wheel wells. It looked brand new when I picked it up. I had checked several other sources to compare the prices and the price I was quoted was indeed fair. No question is too insignificant, no challenge impossible to deal with, and they are never too busy to be courteous and helpful. We would never go anywhere else. While we purchased our latest Grand Cherokee from Miller's, we ourselves picked out the vehicle, and did our research through the internet. There was really no "selling" to this deal, we just needed someone to do the paperwork. However, now Miller's has hired a sales associate equally fantastic to their stellar service department: Ms. Karen Bell. Last week our daughter and her fiance purchased their very first brand new Jeep Wrangler from Miller's. With big hopes and a limited budget, Ms. Karen Bell worked tirelessly and with great ingenuity with the young couple, and she was able to make their dream of their chosen Wrangler a reality within 3 or 4 days! After an uninsured driver hit me in my small, 19 yr. old car and demolished it, I was in physical and emotional pain, not looking forward to ever driving again. Even though I was not in condition to test drive any vehicle, some car dealers were insistent and pressuring when I visited them. Some listened to my list of wants and needs and proceeded to offer me alternatives. But at Miller’s in Martinsburg, Mr. Chris Butcher was patient and understanding, allowing me to visit several times, even making it possible for me to ride in the vehicle before I drove it myself. I greatly appreciated his, and everyone at the dealerships, patience with an old lady going through a traumatic event. So far I am very pleased with the Jeep I ultimately chose, and secure in feeling that my Liberty can be serviced where it was purchased. If this vehicle lasts as long as the previous one, I will never buy another. But should there be another accident and I needed a replacement, I would begin, and hopefully end, my search at Miller’s. My son Tom (21yrs) was looking on-line for a Toyota Tacoma truck with certain features. He has been looking for awhile and found a few but couldn't make a deal. Knowing that the Toyota's had rust problems with the frame which was a factor in purchasing. When he found the one at Miller's Chrysler dealership in West Virgina he call and gave them an offer (I would have made a lower offer since we had travel expenses coming from Connecticut). At first the dealership said it was "rust free" and that made the dealership price OK and we were interested in purchasing the truck. However, as we got closer to getting serious and lot of phone calls in between, we were informed that there was some rust in the undercarriage. I tried to re-negociate the price but to no avail. However, the dealership put the truck on a lift and took some pictures and sent them to us and assured that the rust was superficial. It is difficult to evaluate from pictures but it was a big help. At first, Tom wanted to have the truck shipped but the dealership was adamant on us test driving and looking it over. They put it on "hold" until we made arrangments to get there. Tom is on my insurance plan for cost purposes, so I had to be there also to sign the papers since I would be buying the truck (otherwise it would have been a good experience to do this by himself). It was apparent during our telephone conversations that the dealship was reputable because they made it a point for us to see and test drive for ourselves. Both Karen and Terry were very professional and nice to deal with. At first Tom worked with Karen and as the deal got closer we worked with Terry. When we arrived both Terry and Karen introduced themselves and Terry spent about 2 hrs with us test driving and checking the truck on a lift. It is a risk when you purchase airline tickets one way and a rental car, so if the deal didn't go thru we would have to drive back. Terry made the transition in purchaseing this truck from a long distant very pleasent. Tom is happy with the truck and the ride home was smoother than expected.
