Mr. Benitez, thank you for sharing your feedback. We take it very seriously and truly appreciate you taking the time to provide it so we can improve. I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration you experienced. While our records do show that text updates were sent, none of them adequately conveyed the challenges we faced with the delays—or how those delays impacted your timeline. That was a miss on our part. Originally, we requested an OEM bedside for your repair. However, insurance only authorized a used bedside. This is common, as insurers often approve the most cost-effective repair route in order to help control overall rates. We advocated for you, as we do for all of our customers, to obtain the correct parts—and ultimately an OEM bedside was authorized by the insurance provider. Unfortunately, we had to go through their required process to get there, which greatly extended the completion date. While the parts and approvals were outside of our control, what was within our control was setting better expectations with you and explaining how those decisions affected your repair. That’s where we fell short. I have reviewed this with our Body Shop Manager and addressed the opportunity. I sincerely apologize again and thank you for bringing this to our attention.
