Really pleased with with getting a vehicle, the original sales rep lady was very knowledgeable and experienced, we must have spoken for a few hours, going over the entire process, when the the vehicle had sales rep lady was very knowledgeable and experienced, we must have spoken for a few hours, going over the entire process, when the the vehicle had arrived here in Houston, a CarMax employee called me to let me know the vehicle has arrived and is ready ,. That person that called me said some other guy was going to call me , this guy who called me was John , claimed the Sale of the Vehicle on paperwork, I assume his Commission, I. Turn I never met this guy in person , when I got in the vehicle to drive it home it was clean , minus the windshield inside had lots of streaks, it had a full tank of fuel, , , while I was driving home a check engine light came on , 😢 I stopped by AutoZone for them to check it out , the computer read out says it had something to do with the emissions control, will not pass inspection with this part being defective, I called car max service center and they were saying I could only bring it in on a Wednesday early morning, I work offshore, so that won't work , so my only option is fixe it myself and pay for the part , a couple of days has gone by John message me how everything was going , I told him the same thing that I am writing on here , that's the last I've heard from john, Anyway. I greatly appreciate the supior customer service. More
In store great—the toll free number was horrible. The people on the phone indicated if I didn’t look at/buy the car immediately the dealership would sell it to another buyer. Originally the car was to arrive March 16th and my test drive date was March 18th. The car arrived from California two weeks early and the phone people insisted I move my test drive date. I was leaving on vacation in a couple of days and it was very stressful to change the test drive date. Iwas told I would lose my $1,599 shipping cost if I didn’t look at the car immediately. The in-store people told me none of this was true. More
