I took my Saab in this past Sat. to the Service Dept. at Car Sense in Uwchlan/Exton, PA because a "Stability" control system failure illuminated. A tech. worked on it for a bit, took it for a drive, and the Car Sense in Uwchlan/Exton, PA because a "Stability" control system failure illuminated. A tech. worked on it for a bit, took it for a drive, and they thought it was "fixed" until he backed it into the parking spot & the light immediately came back on. They told me they would check with the Saab dealer on Mon for the part. (They mentioned it could be a week for Saab parts) and I left the vehicle there. On Monday I was told they wouldn't have the part for a probably a day or two. To my surprise, later on Monday, I received a call that it was "done" but the Asst. Mgr., Bobby, wanted to drive it home that night to "make sure" it was OK??? On Tues., I called & was told it was fine. I picked it up Tues. evening and drove it home and it seemed OK. When I took it out on Wed., the first sharp turn I made ~ well, guess what? ~ the Stability Control light is now back on! An issue which complicates all of this for me is the fact that I purchased an "extended" warranty from Car Sense when I bought this vehicle from them, and my mileage is almost up on this car. Besides other "issues" I have had with them in the past as to what is and isn't covered under this extended warranty and the conflicting information I was told when I purchased the vehicle, I am not happy that I am missing work meetings & appointments, feeling that the car is not safe, P.O.'d and very skeptical of what they tell me! I enjoy dealing with Carsense whenever I need regular maintenance on my car or have an issue with my car. Recently my car was not starting up. Of course they explained everything to me in language I would understand (I'm not too handy when it comes to cars) I was in and out in no time and quite relieved to know they have an experienced staff who can fix my car woes. I have been bringing my car for inspection at the Uwchland, PA shop for the last 4 years but this would be my last one. Interestingly, this is the 3rd time over the last 4 years that CarSense has failed my car’s inspection due to the daylight running or marker lights being out. Of course, each time they charge an extra $28 for replacing the bulbs on top of the inspection fee. After complaining to the service desk about this “recurring issue”, they decided not charge me for the bulbs this time but they did not take a discount coupon because “the technician had already submitted the job”. Be aware on your next repair. Personally, I am not bringing my car to this shop again. More

Cars are very pricey. They are proud that they do not negoiate pricing. If you are looking for a deal you can not come here and expect it. I purchased a Cadillac from a gentleman on Ebay. He was going to Carsense to purchase his next car. They refused to do a courtesy transaction for us and talk him into trading the car in and not selling it going to Carsense to purchase his next car. Ethically they knew that he had sold the car me and refused to do the transaction. Obviously out for themselves not YOU. Would never buy a car from such a place... Over priced anyway.... More
