The beginning of the Chapman Auto Group dates back to the mid-1930’s when Roy V. Chapman Sr. started selling used vehicles from his gas and oil station. Roy V. Chapman Jr. (current retired chairman of the Chapman Auto Group),served in the Navy and fought in World War ll. When he retired from active duty, Mr. Chapman went to work at his father’s station from 1945 to 1949. Roy V. Chapman Jr. went to work for John B. White Ford at 6600 N. Broad Street in Philadelphia, PA in 1949 as a sales person. In 1962, Mr. Chapman became the owner of John B. White Ford, until 1973 when he closed the dealership and moved to its present location (Chapman Ford Sales Inc.), at 9371 Roosevelt Blvd., Philadelphia PA. In 1978, Mr. Chapman purchased his 2nd dealership, Chapman Ford/Lincoln/Mercury in Springfield, PA. The Chapman Auto Group has continued to expand with new dealership purchases over the years: 1981 Chapman Ford in Wilmington, DE 1985 Chapman Ford/Lincoln/Mercury/Nissan in Lebanon, PA

I was treated badly in service, and then was told I LIED about having a appointment. I complained to my saleman (Henry) but the could do nothing. Totally disapointed with service after buying several auto from
Capman.

My Review Of Chapman Ford Lincoln Mercury:

Keith Levitt was extremely friendly, courteous, honest and very helpful with my experience at Chapman Ford. Keith is personable and a natural "peoples person". Keith was extremely knowledgeable regarding my new vehicle and all aspects of the dealership. By the time the purchase was complete I felt that it wasn’t just a car, my new 2012 Focus had become “my car”.
It was a pleasure dealing with Keith and the team and I will gladly recommend him and Chapman Ford to anyone that asks for my opinion.

Keith has always helped my family to buy new vehicles. Hes down to earth and doesnt pressure you into something that is not right for you. I have also had my vehicle serviced at Chapman and I have always been treated amazing and had the best service. Chapman Ford will always be the dealership for me!!!

My Review Of Chapman Ford Lincoln Mercury:

I was very pleased with this dealership. Every other dealership that I have gone to with my dad, they aren't very friendly and they are just trying to pressure us into buying a car. This dealership was much different. All of the employee's were extremely friendly and were more than happy to help us and give us enough time to decide on what car. We first started talking to Holly Handson, a new employee at this dealership, she showed us a few cars that were in our price range and was extremely friendly. Before leaving, she gave us her card and told her what days she had off so that we could come back a day that she was coming because she was so helpful and we were so pleased with her. Not only was Holly friendly, all of the other employee's were also very helpful. My dad usually does not have the patience to deal with people in dealerships, but I couldn't get him to leave this time ! I would definitely recommend this dealership, and my next car will definitely be from here also!

Could not have had a more pleasant experience in leasing our new car. Ralph really knew his stuff and was super nice and extremly helpful. Dean made the payments work well for us and could not have been more professional and considerate of our time and budget. This is our third purchase from Chapman and every time they continue to exceede our expectations. They are the BEST !

My Review Of Chapman Ford Lincoln Mercury:

We absolutely recommend NICK MIDDLETON at this dealership. Although everybody there was curteous, he was the sales representative who was there from the start of the process until the end. He was so nice that he even set my bluetooth connection between my new car and my cell phone! And in case you missed it, that was AFTER the sale! Also, we bought a Toyota which is not a make they are specialized in. However, Nick really took the time to give us as much information as possible to help us make an informed decision.

Furthermore, the no nonsense, no pressure approach was really refreshing. Other car dealerships should take notes - make the price clear, treat your customers with respect and have knowledgeable sales reps.
