Terrible service department. Made an appointment for service ( check engine light, unknown noise, and recall) and didn't receive my car back until almost 3 months later. During that time, any communication I received was me reaching out to them. Any updates I received were lies and delay tactics. I was told my car was being worked on, only to be told later "I don't know why they told you that, your car hasn't been touched." Luckily a new employee took over the service of my car and I got it back in roughly two weeks after he took over. While I appreciate his attention to getting my car completed and returned, I wonder what was actually done to my car. When I got my cat back, there was somebody's lunch trash (not there when I dropped off the car) in the car. The interior was dirtier than when I had it last. There were ants all over the inside of the car. The engine was the dirtiest it has ever been with an excessive amount of leaves inside. Not long after getting my car back, a tire sensor went out, the check engine came back on, and the noise is still there. I called back to Chenoweth Service department and spoke to the same guy who expedited the previous service on my car. This time he didn't seem at all interested in the condition of my car and scheduled an appointment for my car that was several weeks away. You would think they would bend over backwards to provide me better service than what i had previously received, but that wasn't the case. They clearly didn't fix the problem, but only made things worse by letting my car sit for so long, which I am assuming was under a tree with the hood up and possibly the windows open. I canceled the upcoming appointment, because i do not trust Chenoweth Ford to service my car in a professional and efficient manner. At this time, I do not know what is wrong with my car and am not totally ok with driving it, but i will not take it back to Chenoweth Ford. Unfortunately this is what we have to deal with. Started spamming me with emails months ago. .. Never heard of them before that... but after "unsubscribing" according to their spam emails... they continued to spam months later... Emailed them .. Emailed them directly, and was told "We fixed it, sorry" (paraphrased), yet... over a month later and I am still getting spam email from them... Filed FTC complaint since they are violating at least 1 federal regulation regarding unsolicited emails from companies... but if they can't manage a simple email process... would you want them handling some more critical like your car repairs and maintenance? Avoid like the plague. More

I purchased a 2019 Ford Edge and only took the 30 day 1000 mile warranty. And before I could even make the first payment the transmission went out. We're from PA and we were traveling on I-79 S through West Virginia on Wed. Sept. 4th, 2024. We were on our way to our log cabin vacation home in KY. Our Ford F-150 began having engine issues and kept s West Virginia on Wed. Sept. 4th, 2024. We were on our way to our log cabin vacation home in KY. Our Ford F-150 began having engine issues and kept shutting off while on the interstate. We were right near the Jane Lew exit when this began. We managed to get off the exit and head back north on I-79 and drove slowly to Chenoweth Ford while the engine issues continued. Luckily we were able to finally make it to the dealership. Everyone there at the automotive repair was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and SO kind!! They diagnosed the issue quickly, luckily had the part in stock and had us repaired and back on the road again in under 2 hours!! We we were so surprised at how quickly they did the repair, so very thankful and couldn't have been MORE PLEASED with their excellent service! What could have been a real disaster- possibly having to spend a night or two in a hotel room, needing a rental car, waiting for part/s, spending a lot more money and wasting time- ended up being not so bad after all because of Chenoweth Ford! They really wanna sell you a vehicle . But when it comes to service . Its no good set me up a appointment 1 1/2 months later and find out its just for a test drive .
