We drove 45 min to the dealership and test drove the car. It was really nice with low mileage but had minor damage to the front and they said they'd fix it, "any thing to sell it". I was super excited but needed to get approval from my mom but she was out of town and we'd have an answer within 3 days. That frindah we were thinking about it and realized that the price they gave us meant that with tax and title it was $2000 more than the sales price so we wanted a quote. We called in on that Saturday when we had time and Michelle the sales person said she'd send it later when she wasn't busy. We called again later that day because she never called or emailed anything. We felt bad for calling but called again 30 minutes before closing. She then told us they'd sold it because some other guy named john or something was selling it too? She had all day to tell us. She even ended up insisting that she tried calling us multiple times to get us to put a down payment on it but we checked and she never in any way tried to contact us. They had our numbers and even a copy of my dads license so they had plenty of was to contact us. She started to say that the guy who showed us the car was sick and the other sales guy sold it. She even started to lie and down play the car I wanted and say it didn't have Bluetooth but I know for a fact it did and she said that the sales guy lied to us. I know it did because it had the buttons on the steering wheel. I was very upset because I had gotten my hopes up and thought I was going to get this car. She proceeded to try to push this other car on us to buy which was another 2000 out of my budget. She did she would call us back in 20 minutes but it was 10 from closing so she lied and never called back. We ended up calling back that Monday and talked to her manager who seemed slightly upset and he could do much but offer us other deals that I can't afford. All in all she screwed us over and tried to lie to us. They even lied to my neighbors who actually bought a car from them and they promised to send her another key fab since they okay gave her one. They never sent it. I do not suggest buying from them in the end. More

So I watched online for a bit, and found one down south that I was very interested in. Immediately called up and inquired about the car, gave financial info etc. Was told I would have to come up and fill out paperwork to get the car transferred. Well the next day I go up, and walk in to sales person and they say they aren't even sure that car is available (mind you I drove 45 mins to this dealership) so they click on the computer for a while then call up the other dealership and come back to tell me it is available but I have to sign papers and pay 500$ for it to be transferred. Was told would take 4 days for car to arrive, took over 6 days. Finally go to get car, sales person is late so have to wait on them for 45 minutes. She gets there, test drive car and go back in to finish paperwork, this time have to wait on finance lady. Go in and fill out paperwork and etc, and she says computer system is down etc so can't transfer tag etc. finally gives me a hand written tag and says they will mail the other one etc. I go out to drive off lot with car, and only handed ONE key. And told "yeah that sucks". Over 1500$ in Dealer fees and etc and they couldn't provide a second key?!? Told me it would be 250$ for a new key. Any way I was recommend to go here and they are suppose to have a 100$ referral fee, so I filled out the form. Friend never received the referral check or anything. Just crazy. Employees bad mouth Each other in front of customer, sales personals were on their Facebook and etc. anyway after about 2 weeks having the vehicle, I get a call from Michelle (finance lady) and told the paperwork needs to redone, that I have to drive 45 minutes back out there for the 4th time to redo paperwork. Well I tell her I plans the next day but can be in first thing in morning and wanted to meet at 9, in and out. I get there at 9 and she's with another customer for over an hour and a half, keeping me waiting. Get paperwork done and drive off. Well few weeks later again I get a call, that she wrote something wrong on the paperwork and I needed to come back to fix it. I refused and said I needed it mailed, just very inconvenienced all the way around. Manager never came and spoke to me etc. I would not recommend buying from them if you want an pleasant and easy experience. Horrible first time car buying experience! More

His response was, "sounds like Carmax has a good deal..maybe you should buy it!" When I asked if we was going to honor what the website stated, he was very unprofessional, nasty and rude! I can promise you I will never attempt to purchase a vehicle from this dealer again and will discourage my friends to look elsewhere. You would think in today's times, he would be looking to earn business...not run it off! More

I had been shopping for a new car for several weeks and found on the internet a vehicle that I might be interested in at this dealership. When we called the dealership the salesperson quoted a price. I dro found on the internet a vehicle that I might be interested in at this dealership. When we called the dealership the salesperson quoted a price. I drove 25 miles out of my way to look at the vehicle. I told the salesperson to go forward with the paper work, upon reviewing the agreement, he had added $599.00 for a dealership fee, $400.00 for a tire nitro add on, & $184.00 transaction fee. I ask him why all the fees, that on the phone he had quoted a price for the vehicle, his response and being very curt, "I wasn't ask" This was approximately $1200.00 extra that he didn't bother to tell us on the phone. He was being very deceptive with the price in order to get folks into the dealership, and I have been told this is common practice at this dealership. I ask the manager what was the $184.00 transaction fee for, he stated "for us doing the paper work" I then stated to him, "that is part of the $599.00 dealership fee. It appears that they are taking advantage of customers once they are inside the door and the final paper work is done, which is sad for those who do not argue those ridiculous charges. I then ask to drive the vehicle home, in order to test it before purchasing. The manager insisted on $500.00 deposit, which I didn't understand, because I had visited five other dealerships and all was required was my drivers license and copy of insurance and a simple form signed. I gave them a $500.00 check for deposit, kept the car overnight and when I returned to the dealership with the check to purchase the car, they could not find my check for the $500.00 deposit. I was then told I could stop payment on my check, which would cost me $35.00 or I could wait until the corporate office mailed me a check for $500.00. Keep in mind, they would not let me test drive the vehicle without a deposit, but I was suppose to trust them to send me a check. I demanded my check or they could have the vehicle back because I was not paying them for the vehicle until I had my $500.00 back. At that time, they found my check. Then when trying to finalize the paper work, it took five attempts for the guy to finally get my mailing address and physical address in the correct place on the form, only after I showed him how to fill it out. He was also very curt about the way I wanted the addresses on the paper work. They don't seem to understand that many folks, does not get their mail where they live, as in my situation all mail goes to a PO box. Had the paper work been left the way he had it, I would not have gotten my tag, the postal service would have returned it to the sender. Once the paper work was all signed, I ask for a copy of everything I had signed, the salesperson stated "well that is strange". To me there is nothing strange about getting copies of any paper work that I sign especially when spending that amount of money. I then ask for someone to quickly show me how to program my cell phone into the hands free system in the vehicle. I was told, no one there knew how to do that, I can't understand how they can legally sell something that no one at the entire dealsership knows anything about. All the other dealerships assured me that someone would answer any questions concerning the vehicle, but Quincy Chevy made no attempt. I did not pay the added on fees for nitro, and transaction fee. Upon leaving the dealership, the manager did not even thank me for shopping there. The sale guy, who just started to work there, came there from a Lincoln, Mercury dealership. He didn't have a clue on anything which wasted lots of mine time. Had I not caught his figures on sales tax, I would have owed the tax office another five hundred dollars. This was a terrible experience, and I do not suggest anyone to purchase a vehicle from this dealership, if you do, bring your attorney. Consumers need to take their time purchasing a vehicle from any dealership, and find out about the dealership before going there to purchase. More
