Angela, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We were disappointed to see your 1-star rating and review. We tried to reach out to you several times by phone and e-mail but have not heard back from you yet. In an effort to ensure that we are competitively priced, we did some checking around to see what the hourly rate is for other local GM Certified Service Departments. Coughlin Automotive is $125/hr. Serpentini is $120/hr. and Chevrolet of Wooster is $108/hr., respectively. AutoZone is Free. However, their scan is very vague in that it only identifies the systems that *might* be the problem. Our scan is very intuitive and tells us exactly where to look. Your visit with us on July 18th was approximately 1 hour and 20 min. The codes that we pulled identified a problem with the EVAP system. We smoke tested the vehicle and identified a leak on top of the gas tank. We explained that the only way to pinpoint the leak would be to drop the gas tank, but you did not wish to proceed. Although our hourly rate is on the lower side than most other local dealers, we understand how frustrating it can be to have mechanical issues with your vehicle, and as a good will gesture we only charged you for 1 hour of labor.
