Cannot be trusted for maintenance on your car I have only taken my Hyundai Santa Fe to this dealer and have kept up with all maintenance. They are supposed to be performing a thorough "inspection" I have only taken my Hyundai Santa Fe to this dealer and have kept up with all maintenance. They are supposed to be performing a thorough "inspection" each time my car is in for an oil change, etc. I just found out the hard way that this is not happening. During my last oil change I had them perform the 60k mile maintenance, which flushes transmission fluid and brake lines. I asked them to inspect everything else (why do I need to ask them to do this?). They found my brakes were so bad that my car shouldn't be driven unless I wanted them to get worse. All pads, two rotors, and one caliper needed to be replaced, all for $1500. They wanted me to do it right then and there, and said if I didn't, it would get more expensive to fix. This was the FIRST time anyone had ever mentioned my brakes to me. You can't tell me that 4k miles ago when my car was in for an oil change, the brakes were totally fine? During the last 4k miles they're beyond saving? What a failure of client service. I trusted them to maintain my car and they didn't. I took my car elsewhere for another opinion, and they did all the work for half the price. They also said the caliper was fine once they cleaned it up. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this dealership ever again. They cannot be trusted to maintain your car, nor do they really care. They are indifferent when you arrive, and I had to wait outside for several minutes just to get them to open the door. Sorry guys - am I bothering you? I'll go to places that actually want my business and care to keep me as a customer. What a terrible experience. More

I started going to Classic Hyundai even though its a little farther after the RC Hyundai dealership at Villaview rd as they wanted to charge me $50 for updating the firmware / software to adjust the steering response even though i was a regular. Classic did it for free and won me over as a customer and i have been going to them ever since. Today while driving on the freeway I suddenly noticed a metal scraping noise coming from the front of the car whenever it went over a bump or gradient. Took it to Classic and they were able to diagnose the problem in 20 minutes without an appointment. The service technician showed me a piece of small hand saw sticking out from underneath the car (don't ask me how it got there, I'm just glad it did not mess up the tires. Amazing what people will throw on the road). They pulled it out, washed the car, informed me that on the next service visit i should look at my brakes as they will need replacing in the next few months. There was no hard sell and I was out in about 40 minutes without having an appointment. More

Jarrod and Brian have been great help every time I have any servicing on my new car. Jarrod made my appointment and got me in when it was convenient for me. This time I came for an oil change, and receive any servicing on my new car. Jarrod made my appointment and got me in when it was convenient for me. The dealership is good on most counts, but when I try to schedule an oil change on my lunch hour, they also are at lunch, and they don't have late appts. Cost of service is high but to maintain warranty I go back to the dealer. When first purchasing the car tried to get info over the internet and salesman gave me the list price on the car with no negotiat back to the dealer. After a second request through Hyundai a different salesman contacted me and he was willing to deal and met my needs. Currently own 4 Hyundai's and felt I should be treated better the first time. On one of my cars the cylinder on the engine went bad and the technician did a great job repairing and keeping me informed. Same car the mirrors would not set themselves correctly when you pushed the button. Brought car in 3 times to look at and was told by the technision that the car is 4yrs old and that is probobly the problem with it. Contacted Hyundai and they told me to take it back as it should be repaired. Took it back and the technician went to move it and the Battery was dead. Replaced the battery and the mirrors started working correctly. Biggest question I had was why didn't someone at least check behind the mirror that a leaf or something wasn't effecting the mirror adj. Granted that would not have repaired it but the attempt would have been there. On the new car I purchased I should get a full tank of gas and when I got in it had less than a quarter tank. Salesman took and got filled. Got the car home and found that the seats needed to be cleaned. The car was on the showroom floor and was not cleaned inside when it came out. The Next time it needed fuel the electric door would not open and had to get to the handle to open manualy. Took the car to service and the Service Manager repaired and done. More
