I bought my car, a 2018 Kia Optima, I am writing this review in an effort to thwart ANYONE who buys from here to dontheir research on what they buy and choose another dealership first. And then DO NOTHING when you need it The story starts when the car started burning oil so bad that I needed top offs 1 month after I got the change. Leaky valves. This dealership DID NOT make me aware that there was a CLASS ACTION Law suit with this exact model. In 2021, they won and it is currently paying out. Thats the first crappy thing It took over a year to get the engine replaced, partly warranty issues and partly the lack of attention to detail when listening to me explain the problem. It was finally done early this year in March I think. I may be wrong. 3 days after I took delivery of my new engine, while driving on the highway, WITH MY 16 YR OLD SON!!!!,the car stalled then went into LIMP home mode. If you know you know. Of not looking it up. Its dangerous as xxxx. Then all the lights came on the dash, and when I turned it off, and tried to restart it it just turned and turned and finally kicked after 10 seconds of turning over. And it was stuck in limp mode. Me being 30 miles away from my house, yea, not happy. I called Cassandra at Commonwealth Kia. She is the rep in service that I had done the engine with. I beought it in immediately and low and behold, the ENGINE BRAKET was broken. Brakes engaging while driving, limp home mode, sputtering and more and more. She then comes out asks me if anyone had touched it since I left 4 days ago. Umm. NO! She tells me "I know my car, I can drive it while the braket is broken, just be careful. WOW!!! Hindsight being 20/20. I didnt know what the Braket was. I would never have left. She put it to warranty. It was passed down twice. And after going back and forth, she sends me an email. KIA wil SPLIT the repairs. Using Goodwill. SERIOUSLY!!? Absolutely Zero accountability at all. I refused this offer. Called the GM. NOTHING he refuses to call me. On my service receipt from the last visit she wrote Customes DEMANDS Kia Pay off his car. Thats not what I said. I asked if there was a way to trade it in without me being upside down. Im SICK over this. Ive called Charlie Dayer. CRICKETS Bottom line the dealership sold me a car that was ACTIVELY under a lawsuit. It broke. They fixed it, but broke it while fixing it. A part that is IMPOSSIBLE for me to damage myself. And now they refuse to take responsibility and cover the cost of repairs and also fix my brakes beacuse they have been engaged while driving since I got it back. I have a case no with corporate. And I have spent 1000 dollars this week nearly at Enterprise rent a car already. Everything I have. Do not go to this dealership. Now we know that their slogan realy means. "Shop us Last", "last time i'll shop you" I had a 2022 Sportage with 3 months left on the lease. Commonwealth contacted me to trade it in early. the sales person told me multiple times that they would pay Sportage with 3 months left on the lease. Commonwealth Motors sold me a car in December of 2023. I was promised a windshield replacement, a touch up paint on the hood, along with replacement vehicle while it was being fixed. Soon after I discovered a number of issues with the car. The headlights severely condensate, the drivers side door leaks, the inside driverside I have had to use an ice scraper the windshield wipers stop out of the blue, the passenger side wiper is broken. The temperature showed 95 while is was under 20 degrees. The rotors are beat up, and to date I have not received my warranty information, despite my multiple request. I have not received the complete car fax report. It was sold to me for 4K over book value. Today is January 20 2024 and I still have NO inspection sticker. I was steered into purchasing this vehicle, and will be filing a report with the FTC, and Massachusetts Attorney General. More

Visited their dealership looking for a’22 Soul. They didn’t have the car that I was told was on the lot. Said they would search for it. Added a market adjustment of $2500. Lowballed my trade. I sent in an inquiry for a telluride I found on their website listed for $42K. Michelle Godin responded. She went on to tell me that to lease this car would be $6100 down and $700/month!!! After going back and forth for awhile Michelle informed me that the website prices are not accurate, that the car has been marked up over $7k and was now $50k due to supply and demand...I completely understand supply and demand...but when your website says one price and ALLOWS YOU TO WORK OUT A DEAL ELECTRONICALLY...you might want to lead with "hey the car cost a lot more than our website says...sorry". She then became condescending and rude "Ive tried to explain the reasoning..." Michelle said "our dealership is ONLY charging $7k over the MSRP and that doesnt include doc fees etc" I have been shopping for a telluride for weeks, i have contacted 6 different dealers and no one else is marking up tellurides more than $4k.
