Terrible customer service. The salesman I dealt with where very rude. When I talked to the manager he didn't seem to care how I was treated!

My Review of Commonwealth Volkswagen:
For two consecutive maintenance visits, I have had the misfortune of dealing with service advisor David Aguilar. This guy functions for this VW location as no more than an unscrupulous up-selling salesman, which as bad as it is, I don't even mind. What the main reason was why I have evaluated their customer service as bad is that if you refuse service on that particular visit for any reason, he takes it personally and threatens to bump your car to the end of the queue at the end of the day. If you do not have a back-up means of transportation (especially for someone like myself who lives across the county) you're left stranded. He mandates that you're not allowed to leave the premises. If you schedule a service maintenance check-up, PLEASE for your own sake avoid David Aguilera at all costs. It would save you a world of stress and headache.

This dealership has the absolute worse customer service I have ever experienced. Not only have they broken something on my tough every time I have went to them, it's always a complete mess of grease on my interior door handles. They also shredded my steering wheel, and did not offer and repair options nor call for follow up. Highly recommend AGAINST this dealer.

My Review of Commonwealth Volkswagen:
This dealership used to be fine. Now under "newish" management their customer service is horrible. Their porter damaged a new car while detailing it as we were signing the loan papers. Their repair did not take and they further damaged the car while gassing it up. The car spent days in the dealership held hostage while the dealership scrambled to get parts. The only offer of compensation offered for our multiple trips and time off work was a free two day stay at some place in Sedona, AZ which would cost us more money to get there and more time off of work. They treated us as though they were doing us a favor fixing items damaged by their employees. This was very disappointing to a repeat customer (this was the 4th car we bought there). We rated this under "service and auto body" because even though we were buying a new car, all of the problems stemmed from the porter detailing the car and then having to deal with the service department to get it fixed (which it still is not). We always felt that we got a fair price and they had a nice selection for buying new cars, although we never serviced our cars there. However, now even for our future purchasing we now can't trust that their porters won't damage the new car while signing loan papers. All of the service department employees are very rude, impatient and act like they are doing you a big favor. We've made a couple of calls to the General Manager, Mike W., who claimed in a letter that if they failed to exceed our expectations he would like to speak with us. Those messages went unreturned.

My Review of Commonwealth Volkswagen:
this purchase marked my first great experience in a VW dealer. The staff were courteous, responsive, especially that my desired color trip was not available at this location and had to be delivered from elsewhere. Environment was also welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed their refreshments while the sales process was being taken place. in less than 3 hours I had purchased a new car. Thanks guys :0 )

My Review of Commonwealth Volkswagen:
Purchased new Jetta in May 2010 and within two weeks it exhibited an intermittent problem with radio reception. Service staff attempted to place blame for problem with window tint which was installed AFTER the reception problem was demonstrated. Multiple phone calls to service department went un-returned. After five visits over nine months to service department for this issue and several emails to VW of America, problem seems finally to have been corrected by a software patch installed on last service visit. Additional phone calls to service department regarding potential issue with instrument panel lighting have gone un-returned. Messages left on Commonwealth's website have also gone un-returned. Purchase experience with this dealership was good and price fair, but service department gets an "F".

This is my first Volkswagen and I choose the 2011 GTI. Not only did they have the one in stock I wanted, but they gave me a good price on the vehicle. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed the Starbuck's coffee. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Commonwealth Audi to my friends and family. Thank you Tsulyn and Commonwealth Volkswagen! I love my new GTI.
