Competition Subaru of Smithtown

Purchased 2007 Mercedes E350 for $19K. Salesmen stated repairs would be made prior to our pick-up. We drove 2 hours and had to wait over 4 hours for the repairs to be completed (the car was not even clea repairs would be made prior to our pick-up. Upon our arrival we found that the heated seat did not work and was told that they would not fix it. We were told that they performed an oil change and replaced defective tires. After our mechanic looked the car over he found that 1 tire was defective and is a major safety issue. The oil filter was never changed but the oil was? There is also a major oil leak. After numerous emails we have not received any feedback as to wether they woiuld cover the needed repairs. By law the safety repair must be made and as buyers we would expect that a $19,000 car would not leak oil! Still awaiting a response.. More

Once all the decisions were made, they did a search for the vehicle I wanted and the deal was completed. I received a number of follow-up calls to make sure I was happy and the car was as expected. Once I got the car home, a friend stopped by, fell in love with it and I recommended he talk to Cathy about purchasing one himself. As far as the dealership in general is concerned, I was referred there by another friend who did a lot of research and found they had the best prices on Long Island. I was referred to this dealer by a friend and almost did not use them because the dealership is a solid hour from my house and there is a Subaru dealership 3 minutes in my town.
