As a standard the dealership is fine. I came in for an issue with my phone not connecting correctly to the car and was told the car likely needed a software update. I was charged $185 and I came in for an issue with my phone not connecting correctly to the car and was told the car likely needed a software update. I was charged $185 and no software update (or anything else) was needed. Turned out all that was needed was a battery reset on the car. Seems like that should have been done first and a diagnostic could be option two if that doesn’t work. Not a great customer experience to pay for something unnecessary when the fix was so simple. More
