My Review of Cory Fairbanks Mazda:
I received a letter confirming financing with Cory Fairbanks Mazda 2 weeks ago. I was approved under "certain terms and conditions" which were never explained to me when I came in to look at a new vehicle. I was told to sit and wait while they tried to "get something together". I was left sitting in the showroom for over 1 and 1/2 hours without my car keys. I just received a letter stating that after "carefully reviewing my application that they could no longer extend vehicle financing to me. The vehicle never changed. It was the same vehicle that I had been trying to buy all along. One day I was approved and the next day they could not finance me or explain to me why I was not. Give me a call in a couple of days I was told by the salesperson. I was called by the salesperson on almost a daily basis and was assured that I would be financed up to that point. My beacon is not fantastic(640)but not disasterous, and I have an income of over $100,000.00 As soon as they did not want to finance me I was dropped like a hot potato. I am very dissapointed with Cory Fairbanks Mazda and would not recommend them to anyone!!

My Review of Cory Fairbanks Mazda:
Bait and switch is alive and well at Cory Fairbanks Mazda. They quoted a down payment and monthly lease payments on the phone for a specific model and equipment level. When I sat down to complete the deal with the salesman however, a "manager" came out and said the terms quoted were not available after all but he would make us a deal nonetheless. Without returning with a counter offer a third person (the sales manager) appeared and proceeded to badger and pressure me, becoming hostile and insulting when I refused to negotiate. The encounter became quite tense so I demanded the return of my keys and credit card, which they were holding hostage.

The unprofessional behavior of the Fairbanks Mazda sales team was shocking and extreme. I've been buying cars for 40 years and have never been treated so shabily in all that time. I've learned my lesson and will return to CarMax for my next car. They never pull this crap.

My Review of Cory Fairbanks Mazda:
I purchased my mazda brand new in 2004 from Corey Fairbanks Mazda. I have the RX8, so obviously it is not one of their lower end vehicles. I have had nothing but problems with my car since day one, including vapor lock issues, the engine needing to be replaced at 30,000 miles, subsequently the transmission needed to be replaced at 55,000 miles, although I had brought my car in for service on several occasions prior to this because the vehicle was not shifting correctly and I anticipated that there was a transmission issue although my claim was dismissed and I ended up paying for tune ups and transmission flushes at a cost of over $600.00. The best part of my service was when I had my brakes repaired one week prior to bringing my car in for the 15th time because the engine light was on, and Corey Fairbanks service department told me that I really needed to get my brakes replaced because they were in very bad shape. I laughed and asked them to recheck them because I had just had them replaced one week earlier. Consequently they backtracked pretty quickly and stated "oops, they just looked very dusty, so we thought that they were old." I am ready to paint my car yellow, and park it in front of their dealership with a big LEMON sign on the front for all to see. Beware!

My Review of Cory Fairbanks Mazda:
Cory Fairbanks Mazda is the place to buy a car IF you enjoy being over charged, having to deal with multiple "sales managers" and "salesmen", and having to resort to walking out to get a deal. I went there to look at a new car. First the salesman quoted a ridiculous amount for the car. We're talking at least $500 OVER MSRP. I'm not that stupid, I hope. When I told him there was no way, he left and came back with another price, no better than the first. Then he came back with a "sales manager" (I'm sure just another salesman) who was this big, beefy, ham-fisted goon who basically tried to intimidate me into buying the car for that ridiculous amount. He kept saying another dealership was just leading me on with a lower price and he was staring me down the whole time telling me I had to take this deal today. What???? Are you serious? The whole experience was just the epitome of everything bad you hear about car salesmen. I walked out and when I got home found a message offering me a much lower price but it still wasn't enough to convince me to buy anything from them. Save yourself time, money, and hassle and just go to Classic.

My Review of Cory Fairbanks Mazda:
Stay away unethical and lied to. Before I signed two contracts to buy two cars from them, I didn't have my check book with me to put cash down. No problem we will just put them as zero down and do all the paperwork again. I was looking at 1000 or more for one car and 500 down for the other. Contract on both says cash N/A . My wife goes to cory fairbanks mazda they tell her they need $$$$ down payment for one of the cars. She tells me over the phone its right here, on the contract that I signed. I only signed one contract per car and both have N/A down. I even had someone with me at the time of both signings and can vouch for this. So now I have two contract from the first day that I signed with zero down on both. But cory fairbanks mazda pulls one up with money down that I owe them. Stay far away, they may have cheap prices but you'll pay in the end

My Review of Cory Fairbanks Mazda:
This is our second mazda and our first at Corey Fairbanks. First off, our salesman knew nothing about the car. I mean nothing. After the testdrive I asked him if had sold anything in his life because he was a horrible salesman. We came in knowing what we wanted and what we wanted to pay and got it. There price was very good. Know for the really bad part.

It has been 3 months and we are bringing in our car for the 1st checkup. I find out that the car was DAMAGED by a tow truck driver on their lot. The customer service rep is trying to smooth things over but "sorry" only goes so far. She cannot make any decisions without talking to the general manager (who will not talk to us) and as the general manager put it " that's what insurance is for". Also she said that the manager said they are not responsible for anything because you sign the waiver when you bring in the car for service. A police report has been filed (which I have yet to see) and I have not heard anything from the insurance company. My wife is beside herself as the car only has 2k miles on it. I can say that the cheap price was not worth the hassle. We have friends that are going to get their new Mazda from another dealer.

My Review of Cory Fairbanks Mazda:
I would like to thank the other customers who rated this dealership for improving my experience with Cory Fairbanks Mazda. After checking out their reputation online and being disgusted, I cancelled my appointment with the sales lady and told her that, after reading all of the complaints, I was uncomfortable doing business with their dealership. A day later, she contacted me and told me her manager agreed to give me an INCREDIBLE price on a 2007 MAzda3 ($4000 below MSRP). I checked it out, they kept their word on the price, and I was satisfied with my experience. Dianna (internet sales) is extremely sweet, not the slightest bit sneaky or slick, and honest. Watch your back when you deal with finance, but if you hold your ground, you get what you want. I used all the negative customer feedback to my advantage and I'm happy with how easy the deal was. Go see Dianna, I can't attest to any of the other sales staff.
