Mr. Telep, you were treated well by everyone, including myself. It was a simple mistake and you berated our technician and were abusive to everyone. We are paying for the damaged part and gave you a free oil change and tire rotation and you still were belligerent! No one was rude or smug. Being a former Police Officer you would think that YOU above all would know how to handle yourself in a situation. If someone came up to you and told you right off the bat that they hate all policemen and they are murderers, I am sure you would not be too happy about that! It is a center cap of a wheel. It was a simple mistake, no one doubted it was our fault, no one told you we would not help you or even give you a free service. But, that was not good enough for you, you had to continue to berate a poor young technician whose only crime was he did not tighten your center cap! There is no excuse for you and your behavior and if you think that is an excuse for you to "call it like i see it" you are badly mistaken! Customer Service does not mean you have to stand there and be berated by someone. You are free to go anywhere else for service you wish. My employees will not be treated like the gum on the bottom of your boot, simply because they made a honest mistake! And, if that is smug and acting like we are being inconvenienced, then you need to look up the meaning of those words in a Thesaurus. Again, we apologize for the mistake, but, we are human and those things happen, the only thing we can do when we make a mistake is to do our best to correct it.

I’m not going to get into a back and forth on here about this. It wasn’t just the center cap, it was a 4 center caps. I’m simply stating a fact that there was a severe lack of ATTENTION to DETAIL. And yes I do know how to handle myself in situations. Stating that your technician did a half xxx job is not berating by any means. It’s a shame that we live in a society now that everyone is so quick to get their feelings hurt when others tell it like it is. The job performed today was less than acceptable and if you and your dealership are ok with techs performing that kind of work on such an easy service than my point is made. Why should I or anyone trust and feel confident that your dealership is qualified to do great work. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with your service department not completing the job correctly the first time. Feel free to pull my service records and you’ll see. And again they weren’t major but it’s the little things that leave a bad impression. And let’s not forget Mr Adkinson that when I went on to try to politely tell you my story as to why I’m so upset lately with the quality of work by technicians, you said “ I don’t have time to hear your story, and I don’t care how you feel about the service industry”. That says it all to me, in regards to how little you care for your customers.

Mr. Telep, at no time did we attempt to shirk our responsibility. But, this has nothing to do with "this day and age"! This has to do with being civil! There is NO DAY AND AGE that would condone your behavior. As for you politely telling me your story, I "politely" asked what I could do for you, and you became unhappy with me that I did not need want to hear your back story of your complete disdain for all things having to do with a car dealership. I again tell you that if someone started a conversation with you by saying all cops are murders, you would not want to hear it, you would want to hear what the assistance you could provide to the person coming to you for help., not, a litany of unrelated experiences and nonsensical fantasies about how car dealerships are bad. You did not care at all about getting your situation, that we caused handled, you felt justified in berating a young technician! It is OUR job to handle the technician and discipline him if necessary, not yours to berate him. After all, if everyone felt frontier justice was the way to handle things we wouldn't need you fine police officers now would we! Again, we owned up to the fact that our technician made a mistake. We took the steps to correct it and even compensate you for the convenience of having to drive around without a center cap, but, that does not give you the right to treat MY PEOPLE like xxxx! No further back and forth is required!
