Reason for Visit: Service

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of Cox-Cohen Chevrolet Inc:
Well, I actually had to drop off my Ford Windstar, they tried to fix my car and 480 dollars later my car still had the same problem for which I had dropped it off for! The first person that picks up the phone is very unfriendly but the service guys are pretty nice, even so, obviously their mechanics are worthless, 'cause they couldn't fix my car at all! They kept my car for 5 days and yet the outcome was less than statisfying!

Reason for Visit: Sales

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of Cox-Cohen Chevrolet Inc:
I fired this dealer and his business from my fleet of GM autos and trucks, for the following reasons:

1.) The parts people are the most incompetent I ever dealt with. They almost never found the right cabin air filter for my car.
2.) The whole bunch are unfriendly and act like your the enemy when you walk into the place.
3.) The mechanics are the sloppiest I ever had work on my car. I had the electric motor for one of my front windows replaced and when I went to pick up the car I found sealer smeared all up and down the door pane. Also, they had placed a paper mat on the floor and when I picked it up there was a big glob of grease on my carpet. Obviously the mech just covered up the mess thinking I wouldn't notice. Boy I was mad.
4.) I went there with preapproved credit and told them so before the sale but they went ahead and submitted my name and application to several agencies anyway. It took me months to get that straightened out as they reported me as a poor risk since I didn't follow up on the application which I never authorized in the first place.
5.) I got a letter in the mail from Jerry Cohea advising me that if I bought a car I would receive $100 in free gas. After I bought the car he refused to honor it.
6.) The car I bought was supposed to be certified. They evidently don't know what that means because when I picked it up I noticed that it was low on coolant. They topped it off after I complained but after months of dealing with a low coolant problem I finally isolated a coolant leak under the intake manifold. Guess what, too late, so I had my local garage replace the gasket.

I could go on and on but suffice is to say if there is any other dealership left in the state I will go there before I ever go back to Cox & Cohea Chevrolet.
