Craig Smith is a second-generation dealer. His father and uncle started in the new car business in 1963 in Dekalb Illinois. The family sold their store in Illinois in 1975 and moved to Florida where they operated a new car dealership until 1994. Market changes and a new overpass built in front of the Florida dealership dictated a change for The Smith Family. The dealership was sold, and Craig Smith found the Galion Ohio point to be just what he was looking for. Craig Smith Auto Group was opened in May of 1995 selling Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Buick. The dealership is now known as Craig Smith Chevrolet Buick. I'd give this garbage company less than no stars. Do not buy a car at Craig Smith. They will lie to you, replace parts with bad ones then refuse to fix it!! I've purchased vehicles from Craig Smith Auto Group for about 20 years or so and the professionalism of Tony, Kevin and the staff have always been amazing! In my opinion based on my own interactions they g about 20 years or so and the professionalism of Tony, Kevin and the staff have always been amazing! In my opinion based on my own interactions they go out of their way to do the best that they can for the customer and represent their company with high standards and professionalism. The property is always very clean, organized and easy to navigate and this is also the true in regards to their RV Center. I truly like purchasing my vehicles from here because I don't have to worry about the classic car salesman gimmick or things of that nature and Tony and Kevin are both amazing individuals!
