I went to schedule a six month service for my new Solterra. The first issue was with scheduling the service on-line. I was asked which service I would like and which drop-off time I would like. It did not provide a price for the service or an estimated time. I had to call the dealership to get the details and schedule the service. I was told service would be 60-90 minutes, so I decided to do some walking while I waited, rather than come back for the car later. I was unable to drop the keys off and leave though, because I had to wait for my "service manager" to give her the keys. I still do not understand why I couldn't just give the key to the person that directed me in. At other dealerships, I can drop off the car in the middle of the night, and stick the keys in a slot. I told my service manager, Olivia, that it was having trouble connecting to my phone. She said that she would see if it is eligible for an update. I ASSUMED that if it was, they would have updated it! (Not to mention that most other electric cars are updated at home, over wi-fi). . When I went back to pick up the car, Olivia told me that is was eligible for an update and I could schedule that in, it was free, but would take a couple of hours. If they knew it was eligible for an update, they should have done it then. They could have called or texted and said it would be longer. They expected me to pay them, then deal with their terrible scheduling system, then come back and take more time out of summer and arrange to have it in there again. Olivia just said, "I did ask them if it was eligible for an update like I said I would." Are you kidding me? If it is, and you have it, and especially of it is free, then DO IT! I went and talked to the Love Subaru people and they talked to her and the update was completed then. I had my husband pick me up. Which I could have done in the first place and all it would have taken was a quick phone call. I will be going to a different Subaru dealer for future service. More
I went to Dick Hannah just to do a test I drive, which I did. I met Royal Tran! Royal is the most friendliness, honest person you will ever meet! He came in on his day off just to help us out. It took my husband a long time to decide on the purchase. Royal was incredibly patient. He let us to talk and work through the process. He is incredibly knowledgeable and had an answer for ALL of our many questions. I can not say enough about Royal. The team was great as well. Loved the snacks! If you are looking for a Subaru and don'twant the "typical" high pressured sales experience, go to Dick Hannah Subaru in Vancouver Washington and ask for Royal Tran!!! He will take care of you., he's the best ever!!!! More
This is the first subarua that I've boughten at this dealership, but have done business with them for maintenance on my previous outback. I had a great car buying experience working with Mike El-Krewi and the rest of the Dick Hannah team. On Sunday, I showed up 30 min before closing and he still took his time to show us some cars. I was still debating which vehicle I wanted to get, so it was nice to not be rushed and actually compare the cars. He was very knowledgeable and helped me narrow it down to two cars, and eventually we narrowed it down to the Forester Wilderness based on my needs. When it came time to negotiating the price, Danny Calderon was able to get me a competitive deal and lock in something that I was comfortable with. Over in financing, I worked with Abdul Quddus and he helped me purchase a pre paid maintenance package that I wanted for the new Subi. Overall, the process was really smooth and surprisingly fast. If you are looking at buying a new Subaru, I recommend Dick Hannah in Vancouver, Wa and I would ask for Mike El-Krewi if you want first class customer service. More
