Darrell Scott was friendly, professional and very courteous. He made the service process for an oil change and replacement of a rear turn light indicator very easy. He was up front about the replacement cost and that was appreciated so there were no surprises. I have dealt with Darrell in the past and he always makes the process positive even while dealing with service issues.

My Review of Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram:
I was interested in an Audi TT Quattro Convertible they were selling; was told it had a brandnew engine and all service performed. Luckily, I took it to my own mechanic (a classy outfit specializing in European cars) and learned that
a) the engine was most certainly not new: the aluminum parts weren't shiny anymore (it takes a long time for those to go dull), there was oil puddling in places (perhaps a leak, perhaps not), while the top looked brandnew (shiny stuff put on), the bottom didn't, and, most conclusively, the timing belt was almost gone -- that happens around 90K
b) the car had a horrible maintenance record -- while the seller, Lindsey, told me she had "personally watched" them change all fluids, some of the drain plugs were actually corroded in (steel and alu, probably unfixable), hence no trans oil change etc. COULD have been performed.
c) there was considerable rusting on the undercarriage and some other places, in part because some weld seams had been bent up and were collecting water.

When I brought it back and offered to buy it for the asking place minus the cost of the repairs needed to make it a "reliable car" (my mechanic's words), they refused to even acknowledge that they had misrepresented the vehicle. An email to management got no reply.

Stay away.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review concerning your experience at our dealership. Even though you are encouraging others to "stay away," I appreciate this opportunity to complete the story by providing our side of what occurred.

First of all, you did not take delivery of a vehicle from our used car department as indicated (and I’m sorry for that as I would have liked to make a deal). While you were considering the vehicle, you voiced a concern about a "light pulsation" you felt once in a while during a test-drive. Although the vehicle had just passed our safety inspection, I took your concerns seriously and replaced the brakes and tires at your request as a courtesy.

In response to direct comments in your review:

A) There would be no reason for the engine to be "new" since it is a 2001 model and it was never represented as such. What is true and accurate concerning the engine is that it was swapped out by the original owner a few years back so he could have more power out of the vehicle. Specifically, the original 1.8-liter engine was upgraded to a 5-cylinder turbo engine (an engine that was not available when the vehicle was manufactured in 2001).
B) We are under no obligation to change all of the fluids on the vehicle; maintenance is the responsibility of the owner. However, we do change the oil during the inspection process prior to selling the vehicle. Should there be a repair necessary while undergoing the inspection process which requires fluid replacement, then we would change fluids at that time.
C) The fact of the matter is that the vehicle you were considering is a "reliable" Audi TT. In fact, in our business it is considered to be a "clean" car, meaning that for its age, condition and mileage, it is in very good shape.

Brand new this Audi TT vehicle would run about $50,000; our asking price at the time you were looking at it was $12,900. I would encourage anyone reading this review to check in on this vehicle (if it is still available) and any other used vehicles on our lot. Used Dick Scott Collision to repair my 2010 PT Cruiser. (Some ditz backed into me.) I took it in, they ordered parts, received them the next day, and had it repaired overnight. Excellent job, no trace of the accident, looks great. They also detailed the entire car. I am just thrilled with the result.

My trip to Dick Scott's auto dealership was to assess and repair damage to under carrage panels, located beneath the engine bay, on my 2005 Dodge Magnum. The shop manager, Rick, quickly noted the problem area and identified the parts needed for the fix. Parts were ordered an appointment was made the repair was performed and I was on my way for a reasonabel charge. All the staff were polite and professional during my brief visit.

My Review of Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram:
I brought my vehicle in to the collison shop for repairs. I explained how I was paying for the repairs out of my own pocket. I was concerned about the price of having to rent a car to get back and forth to work. Pam at the collision shop referred me to Enterprise, which worked out great. Rich accomidated me by having a 'rush' put on the repairs, so I wouldn't have to be out a lot of money on a rental. The overall experience was great. I will not go anywhere else! Not to mention, this was (by far) the cheapest estimate I received for the repairs......I had 3 total.
Great job!!! Thank you!!
