All of it. Brakes ands rotors, free! I bought my second hand from Dick’s about three months ago so I thought it’ll be fair to ask for a discount and after speaking with Alex, he reassured me that a discount is very possible. Then the sales manager, James got involved because they all remembered me, which was really cool of them. James then spoke with the top dog, Wayne who then decided to make the whole thing free! What?! Who does that nowadays?! Dick’s does. Everyone from sales to service center and management, just top notch service. Service center was short handed but they didn’t make any promises they couldn’t keep. We set a date and everyone pulled through. I’m coming back for my next car. I keep my word also. Wink wink. More

I am rating a 1 for my service experience. I don't understand how a dealership can have a 10+ rating for sales and a horrible service department I wouldn't even give a full star. I purchased my car fr understand how a dealership can have a 10+ rating for sales and a horrible service department I wouldn't even give a full star. I purchased my car from Dick's Hillsboro Honda, but it was at a different dealership in a different state, so it had to be delivered. 2 weeks later, I found ants all over the rear passenger door. They claimed there was "food jammed into the trim" Being a brand new car...there has been NO open food in my car. The service report said "ants all inside door trim, around seals and underneath door trim panels" That is not ants getting food and taking it back to the colony...that is a nest...IN MY CAR. I was charged over $700 to fix the situation. I lost my new car smell...AND they forgot to give me my stuff that was in the car...I had to go back for my bag of sweaters and USB cords. I would recommend to absolutely buy a car here, but STAY AWAY form having your car serviced here. **Edited** Well that's cute...the service manager called and tried to make it right by offering me a $500 piece of tape for the front of my car to protect the paint...the same amount I was asking to be refunded.. I am still offended I am being blamed for the ants in my brand new car. More

He forgets to inform you that there are issues with your car, can be rude and confrontational when you ask questions about service and next mileage service. He seems bothered to help you. I have had better service from other advisors so I avoid booking with him at all costs. Hopefully, someone at Hillsboro Honda will finally do something about his poor work and unprofessional behavior. Someone should also coach the mechanics not to openly discuss how much they hate working there while getting coffee in the lounge. It didn't leave me feeling great about returning for service. More
Incompetent - Issue not resolved after multiple visits I bought a 2016 Odyssey EXL with RES about an year ago and now have about 6500 miles on it. While taking delivery of the vehicle after purchase, I not I bought a 2016 Odyssey EXL with RES about an year ago and now have about 6500 miles on it. While taking delivery of the vehicle after purchase, I noticed that the tail gate doesn't open with a smooth action. It opens halfway normally and then bounces/shudders till opens completely. The service team was not fixing this issue until their service manager Rich intervened and made them fix this. A couple of months back, I noticed that the tail gate makes a screeching noise while opening. This issue is fixed after 4 visits to the dealership. Once this issue is fixed, the shudder while opening the tail gate is back. The service adviser has no clue how to fix this issue. He agreed it works fine once a while in 10-15 attempts. It opens fine manually. So the delta (manual Vs Power) is the motor. Initially he planned to change the motor but later ended up changing the struts which did not help in fixing this issue. I am member of a Odyssey forum where I found few other owners with the issue and changing the motor fixed the issue. I sent an email to the service adviser regarding the same along with the link, but he is not ready to do so as he needs to hear it from Honda USA. I am not able to post the link here due to the policy of the website. I received a call on 12/27 stating to pick up my vehicle as they are not able to fix the issue and it happens on new vehicles as well. I went there on 12/28 just to find that the vehicle is not ready -The parts they removed were not but back. This issue and the way they handled it left me without peace.I wanted to scream and say, this worked fine before you changed the struts to fix the screeching. noise. Please search '2016 honda odyssey tail gate issue' in youtube for video Now they say, this is normal. Does this look normal to you?? Because of the sound it makes while opening, I am worried the tail gate might drop down some time. More

I wanted to give her some tips but she refused stating it as against her company policy. She even got a car wash done for me. Sometimes when you look around and see , the world has a lot of nice people .Ashley ,you are really one of them!!Thanks Ashley, once again More
Excessive Oil consumption warranty - Normal ??? After having asked questions about ticking noises and oil high oil consumption for years last August Honda sent me the official recall letter. Excessi After having asked questions about ticking noises and oil high oil consumption for years last August Honda sent me the official recall letter. Excessive Oil consumption due to piston ring problems. I decided to bring it in as it was again sounding very raw and sometimes ticking especially when cold or taking a turn. After a rough start (seemed no one ever heard about this recall) they performed the official calibration test meaning a full oil change and calibration (mileage) with the request to come in after 3k miles. My car has only 35k miles and after 2800 miles and oil live at 70% and no oil light on yet the sounds were so terrible that I felt I had to bring it in: More than 2 quarts oil gone! This is almost double of what it considered reason to investigate the engine but I got the 'that's normal' answer. I expect this car to be fixed, from a mileage perspective it is brand new and during the last 'full inspection' everything came out fine ... except oil levels. Should I wait till oil life is 15%, the light comes on or the engine runs into the ground to consider it 'excessive'? It makes no sense, if there is one case where this warranty recall is valid it is this one. I do not know why I have to do another test (oil topped off and come back in a 1000 miles). Imagine you drive a couple of thousand a month ... you would be in there every few weeks to add oil because that's 'normal'? I bought my car at this dealership and I would hope that they would look out for their customers a bit better. I understand this is a factory problem which can as everything where people are involved create a problem no and then but this is why you have a service department Honda: To fix the things that are wrong. Poor service I purchased a used vehicle here with a service contract that had a disappearing deductible. They have historically tried to sell me early timing belt I purchased a used vehicle here with a service contract that had a disappearing deductible. They have historically tried to sell me early timing belts and serpentine belts for false reasons. I took my vehicle to Dick's Hyundai right around the corner from me because they said they would honor the service contract. Turns out not the disappearing deductible though and I was told that is the way it is... I was referred to the finance manager who, after two voicemails, failed to return my call. I finally got ahold of him and he claimed he writes everything down and he doesn't have record of me calling. He also told me he could view my contract but not the details and he couldn't help me. This is the last straw, I will never be calling or returning for service which he was very happy about and ended the call. More
