Made appointment for "waiting service" for 7500 mile checkup and a recall. when I drop the car off, was told that the recall would take 3-4 hours, so I declined and said I would make an appointment at a checkup and a recall. when I drop the car off, was told that the recall would take 3-4 hours, so I declined and said I would make an appointment at another time. Picked up the car and it was already acting up (door handles not opening upon approach). The next morning the car would not start so I had to have it towed to dealership. Dealership told me that coincidentally the regular car battery died but it would take several days since they only have one EV tech. Replacing the regular battery took about five days. When I picked up the car, the service assistant fetched the Mechanic and he told me a wireless module was malfunctioning and is on order with NO Eta. Soon after, the car started acting up again ( the brake lights stayed on all night) and I bought this to the service department attention. I was told over text this are things to get used to on new car and my safety concerns were not addressed ( online research from quality websites suggests a bad brake sensor). My car just died , most likely due to the brake light issue. My car has been now in the shop, second time around, for over 7 weeks. I do not get updates anymore from the dealership, but have to ask for them. They say GM technical service is not responding to them. When I reach out to Chevy headquarters, they say the dealership is not responding to them. I have asked multiple times for the email address or phone number for the general manager so we could discuss a refund. At this moment it seems, that I am going to have to go through the New Hampshire lemon lab process, which is quite time consuming. More
