Long story short this dealership is exactly why the FTC is proposing rules for shady dealer tactics and discriminating on certain customers. Negotiations over market adjustment then stalled and I did not hear from the dealer for over a week. Then today out of nowhere they text me if I was “ready to pull the trigger on this Camaro” . I told them I would but was not interested in paying a market adjustment . They then texted me back bragging about how they just sold the vehicle at MSRP to a local “repeat customer” who had a trade in and financed through the dealer. I don’t understand what all that was about. I signed up for price alerts on the vehicle and they text me just to tell me it was sold to someone better? They could have just said sorry it was sold and offered me help with anything else. I wasn’t against using their financing but what can I do if they can’t beat my credit unions rate. I’m just a hard working man who tries to be his very best. More

We were not aware that it was so difficult to finance a vehicle that was over ten years. The salesman never mentioned this. We drove two hundred miles to find out that we couldn't get financing.
