Making appointments should make your service run smoothly - but from my viewpoint, if I make an appointment, I expect the work to be done while I am waiting in the wait room. I live 2 miles from the Oakland Toyota dealer, but have made the choice to travel all the way to Dublin for the service, as long as the work is done in a timely manner. More

The quote for $2,399 seemed unreasonable and exorbitant for the scope of work. I called and questioned the quote and "the book" said it was a 12 hour job resulting in the high labor costs. I did receive some loyal customer discounts after I questioned the service quote which were helpful but still felt I was overcharged. They did perform the service and kept the car for few days while I was on vacation at no charge. Louis was very friendly and was probably following protocol. More
