My Review of Earnhardt Nissan:
I was looking to purchase the Nissan Rogue SL 2WD and had spent approximately 2 hours with the salesman named Mr. Wong whom was extremely professional and nice. I narrowed down which model and color I liked. Upon finding the model I liked, we went inside to talk about the price of the car. I told Mr. Wong immediately I would like the vehicle price and would need a day or two to think about it and would be paying cash.

He brought his "manager" Jim back who began questioning why I couldn't buy today. He refussed to give a car price and walked away after I requested to know the price of the car and I refused to set up another appointment until I received a car price.

I'm still confused to why this happened, extremely poor customer service on Jim's part. I do not recommend this dealership. I'm a cash buyer, decided on the car I wanted and only needed the price. I only wanted a day or two to think about the price.

This manager is a typical car salesman. DO NOT GO HERE! It is a waste of your time.

My Review of Earnhardt Nissan:
I called on a Nissan 350Z vehicle that I was interested in and sent my son to check it out the very next day. He was told that the "car had been sold the day before." On three separate days the salesperson called asking when I was going to come and check out the vehicle. On each call I asked and was insured that the car was available. On that third call from the dealer, I said I would be there the following morning and would be quite upset if the vehicle was not there. Approimately an hour later, the lady called back and said that she just found out that the "car had been sold the day before" and asked if I could still make the trip (which is a 100 miles for me) because she could make me a good deal on a new one. I told her that I was in the process of getting in touch with Terry Goddard's office to file a complaint for what I perceived as deceptive sales practices including bait and switch.

My Review of Earnhardt Nissan:
The car purchasing experience at Earnhardt Nissan has been absolutely horrible. I would not purchase from them again if they were the last dealership on earth. I should have taken the numerous salespeople waiting outside to pounce on unsuspecting customers as a warning sign.

I purchased a 2008 Nissan Versa SL from them last week, and the process is still not over. They attempted to add on $2500 of dealer-installed accessories, which quickly became discounted to $599. They had to do a dealer trade to receive the exact specifications that I wanted and the car was there for two days before I was able to pick it up. In all of this time, the car was still missing two of the accessories that we had spent hours haggling over. In addition, I was not able to ask my salesperson about these missing items as he left unexpectedly in the middle of delivery--which was very unprofessional. Nevertheless, I was told that my salesperson would call me the next day about this issue, which he did not. I also found out that one of the accessories I was sold is not normally put on the Versa!

I only received a call after I threatened to come in. My salesperson schedule me to come in on the morning of Labor Day, which I thought was peculiar but made no mention of as I know car dealerships are open on this day. To my surprise and frustration, I arrived Monday morning to find out that the service department was closed. I was beyond angry at the fact that they scheduled me to come in on a day that the service dept was not open after all that we had already been through. I immediately spoke to a customer service manager, John Patten, and he acknowledged that the service from my salesperson had been poor. He assured me that I would receive a call the following day to redress all of the issues.

I did in fact receive a call and was scheduled to have the remaining items installed the following day. I dropped off the vehicle to the service department the next morning, but left with little confidence in the service adviser as he was quite perplexed as to why there were keyless entry buttons on the outside of the door handles (this option is quite common on new Nissans). I dropped the car off at 10am and by 5 pm had still not heard from anyone at the dealership even though the whole process was only supposed to take several hours. After asking people to chase down the service adviser, I find out that the installer for one of the options did not show up today. I completely understand that this is beyond their control, but they did not even attempt to contact me regarding this. It is a week later and my car is still not what I purchased.

To make matters worse, to compensate us for our inconvenience, I was offered two movie tickets. My car's gas tank was untouched from where I left it that morning--the least that they could have done was to fill it up. I have visited this car dealership 4 times in the past week, spent countless hours trying to contact the incompetent people there, purchased a $20,000 car from them, and they give me a peace offering of movie tickets worth less than $20. I am embarrassed for them at this pitiful attempt at customer service. I will never purchase a car from this dealership or any other dealership owned by Earnhardt.

My Review of Earnhardt Nissan:
Have taken my car there twice now. Purchase of the car was an ok experience. Sevice has been horrible. I got the auto butler service. You have to take your car there within the time frame or else you loose the service. The first time I took the car we had to wait 6 hours for them to finish with it. Mind you we live 2 hours away from the dealership. To make this up they offered us free oil changes (it would cost more to drive down there to get my oil changed for free than to pay for it where I live). This last time they broke the antenna so I have to make another trip down there to have that fixed. They didn't do the inside service and I have to print off the paperwork to tell them what they are suppose to do for the auto butler. I will be using another dealership from now on. No repeat visits for me.

My Review of Earnhardt Nissan:
Earnhardts Nissan has forgotten what the word service means. I called the service department when my Altima would not start. After looking up my record, they gave me the phone number to their towing company and told me to call and have it towed in. They called me two days later and told me that the started was just "jammed" and all I needed was a new battery. Then they said I was 200 miles past my warranty and not only would they not replace the battery, but I had to pay $300.00 for the towing. 200 MILES OVER!!!! This is service at it's worst. Obviously, Earnhardt's does not care about RETURN customers.
