East Madison Toyota responded

To whom it may concern, We go to great lengths to satisfy every guest, and we work diligently to provide outstanding customer service as demonstrated by our multiple President’s award (19 out of the last 25 years, including 2009). We also maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Unfortunately clerical errors can occur and we are no exception to this. When we do make a mistake we make every attempt to address the guests concerns in a reasonable manner. In this instance we had made an error in our online advertising, and mistakenly advertised this vehicle with a CD player. When we discovered the error we gave the guest the option of a discounted price, a CD Player or he didn’t have to take delivery of the vehicle . The guest insisted on receiving both a discount and the CD player on what was a less than $4000 vehicle before any fees. The guest finally agreed to purchase the vehicle; opted for the discount and took delivery of the vehicle. He did so of his own free will. We believe we made a good faith attempt, prior to the sale, to resolve this clerical error. Danton Walthers General Sales Manager Jon Lancaster Toyota/Scion
