I am a woman who HATES the car buying experience, until now. I love my new Civic and Richard Wade and all the great people have NOT changed my mind about how miserable buying a car ususally is, but they h now. I love my new Civic and Richard Wade and all the great people have NOT changed my mind about how miserable buying a car ususally is, but they have changed my mind about Ed the Voyles Honda buying experience. It is the only place I will go from now on and I will suggest the same to all my friends. They told me the truth, they answered my questions and my intent to shop around disappeared quickly. They not only gave me a great deal, they did it fast and made me feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable environment. Thank you to all the fine people at Ed Voyles Honda. Maria More
I find Ed Voyles Honda to be, far and away, the finest Honda store in metro Atlanta. I have purchased a Civic and a Pilot there in the last two months and couldn't be more pleased with the experiences. W Honda store in metro Atlanta. I have purchased a Civic and a Pilot there in the last two months and couldn't be more pleased with the experiences. Why? Here is what I have discovered; Honda Carland is being sold to an large Oriental based company; Curry Honda is owned by a company from NY, most of the other Honda stores, (Nalley, Team, Gwinnett, Mall of GA, etc.) are owned by big publicly held companies. Those companies care about stockholders, NOT individual customers or keeping the same employees. I've purchased from those stores (not all, but three of them), but never find the same people there when I go back. Voyles provides consistency in people, service, and ownership experience. I would pay MORE to do business with Voyles, and have, in order to get the right vehicle from the right people. Past experience has taught me the ownership experience is WAY more important than the 'illusion' of the lowest price. The ownership experience lasts years, the buying experience a few hours or days. My years of buying cars (I buy for me, my wife and two daughters!) leads me to believe all dealers sell the cars for about the same price, there is no such thing as the "low priced dealer!" Voyles people tell it like it is, don't play games and make the purchase experience fast, fun (yes, fun), and easy. Waste your time 'shopping' if you want too, but I would recommend you visit Ed Voyles Honda first and save yourself a lot of time. More
Best price I could find in Georgia. Richard gave us the price and had the car we were looking for. The folks in the business could have been better the monthly payment was lower than the salesperson said i price and had the car we were looking for. The folks in the business could have been better the monthly payment was lower than the salesperson said it would be. Did not enjoy the other dealers tried to charge me more! More
Took to Honda after visiting independent tire shop who pointed out that the alignment bolts had not been properly tightened in the previous service. Honda refused to take responsibility and charged for r pointed out that the alignment bolts had not been properly tightened in the previous service. Honda refused to take responsibility and charged for replacement in addition to replacing tie rods and bearings in front wheels along with a tire and wheel. (As he kept adding to the price it finally topped out at $1200 for a job that had been estimated at $860.) Next day the mud flap that had been broken in the repair process came loose and hoping that Ed Voyles might take some responsibility for the damage (caused by his repair shop) visited the shop again. "Not their shoddy repair." Of course, they are the only ones who have worked on the car. One week later the tire installed by Ed Voyles developed a bubble. Back to the shop (after getting an estimate by another company). The explanation (from Ed Voyles) was that it was the way the car had been driven in the last week that caused the tire to form the bubble. Well, my daughter, who had obviously been taken advantage of said that was absurd. She called North American Honda and Bridgestone tire and finally got Ed Voyles to replace the tire for the cost of mounting and balancing the tire (apparently the standard for repair work). Honda has a great preventive maintenance program. I have purchased four Honda cars and have always had the car serviced in the dealer shop, but Ed Voyles Honda dealer is a disaster. More
If you want to be treated badly and be abused by a sales rep, go to Voyles. Otherwise, stay away, stay far, far away! Our experience with them was shocking. Sales rep never introduced himself nor asked us o rep, go to Voyles. Otherwise, stay away, stay far, far away! Our experience with them was shocking. Sales rep never introduced himself nor asked us our names, behaved as if we were bothering him by asking about three cars they advertised for sale, told us the cars had been sold the day before when they were sitting there on the lot, did not walk "with us" through the lot (walked far ahead), would not open up the cars to let us look inside, etc. We left there and went to Honda Carland and bought a Honda Accord EX for approximately $20,000. Needed 30k service and warranty repair, they are close to my office so I wanted to save some time. Made appt and dropped off. Car was done fast but I noticed my bill was high. They overcharged for the 30k my office so I wanted to save some time. Made appt and dropped off. Car was done fast but I noticed my bill was high. They overcharged for the 30k service (Price is advertised on their web page for goodness sakes) and charged me hourly for the warranty repair. When I brought it to the cashiers attention she had me speak with Mr. Sweet. He told me it was my fault I had not told my service advisor this car was still in warranty (2 more yrs) and that they deserved to be paid for their work. I had heard about this repair through an online group and he also told me they were wrong it is not a warranty repair- Even though the TSB he brought up on screen said it is and can even be done as a goodwill for out of warranty cars. Very condescending attitude to a paying customer. I did tell them it was a warranty repair when I made my appointment, they did not record that, only what service was to be done. Get a written estimate from these guys or you will get ripped off too. Customer is always right- not at Ed Voyles Honda More
Ed Voyles has been auctioning a Honda Civic on Ebay lately which has body damage. I had already looked at the vehicle on their lot and recognized it. They have apparently purposely taken some of the pi lately which has body damage. I had already looked at the vehicle on their lot and recognized it. They have apparently purposely taken some of the pictures to make it hard to see some of the damage and worse do not show any pictures of the passenger side of the vehicle where there's damage on the front and rear fenders. Anyone who has looked at vehicles on ebay, notice there are many pictures posted of each vehicle from honest sellers to show you every angle and body part to make sure you are aware of the condition of the vehicle since all you have are those pictures to make a bid on (besides Carfax). For pictures to be absent of the main area of damage for a vehicle could be a case of gross incompetence by the person posting the ad, or could be far worse. Say it isn't so. A car dealer possibly hiding something. To put icing on the cake, they were asking above NADA "clean retail" for it. More
I very strongly urge anyone in the lookout for a new vehicle to keep a safe distance from Ed Voyles Honda. I was in the market for a new 2008 Honda CR-V EX-L. I had received several quotes from area vehicle to keep a safe distance from Ed Voyles Honda. I was in the market for a new 2008 Honda CR-V EX-L. I had received several quotes from area dealers. I called Ed Voyles Honda to get a quote and was given an excellent price. I was asked to give my credit card information so they can use it charge $500/- deposit to ensure I get the deal. Instead of giving the credit card over phone, I faxed in the information outlining the exact cost of the purchase and that I was authorizing them to charge the deposit amount to my credit card provided that I am able to drive out the vehicle that very day for the cost mentioned in the letter. After receiving my fax, I got a phone call from the sales agent, Mike Guzman, saying that one of the managers do not want to do the deal. But since he offered the price to me, he will still honor it provided I come closer to closing when the manager would not be around. I agreed to this. 2 hours later, Mike, the sales guy, calls again to inform that there is no deal as his second manager also was not acceptable to the deal. At this point, I told Mike that I was very disappointed in the whole process. Mike then mentioned that he has new numbers that he has approval of. I asked him to fax and email me that information to make sure that there are no new surprises. He faxed and emailed the information more than an hour later. Even this time, there was a discrepancy in what he had led me to believe over phone and what was in the fax and email. At this point, I did not feel like pursuing this any further with this dealer and wrote back to Mike saying that there are still discrepancies in his latest offer. Today, Mike called again asking me for my response. I told him that I am no longer interested in pursuing the purchase thro’ his dealership. I asked him to make sure that he reverses the deposit, if he has already charged. To this, he told me that the advance amount is not refundable. If it does show up as a charge on my credit card, I will have to pursue this further with my credit card company. More

I recently discovered through a CarFax report that the “New” car that I purchased from Ed Voyles Honda had been sold as “New” even though it was in a car accident prior to me purchasing it. The dealershi “New” car that I purchased from Ed Voyles Honda had been sold as “New” even though it was in a car accident prior to me purchasing it. The dealership did not disclose the accident to me during the purchase. I took the CarFax and Police report to the General Manager Pete Richards to discuss the situation. Pete Richards informed me that he was aware of the car accident and said they did not have to disclose this information to me when I was purchasing the car. Buyers should be aware of this business practice and look elsewhere when purchasing any car from Ed Volyes. More
