My car was due for an oil change. I pulled up to the service station, and Ron greeted me right away. I told him about the service numbers that showed up on my dashboard. He then told me that not only did I need an oil change, but I also needed the tires to be rotated and that the brakes needed to be inspected as well. After taking care of the paper work, he told me that the car would be ready in about 5 hours. Sure enough 5 hours later, he called. My car was ready. It was a great experience. More
Have been taking my Honda Accord here for 10 years and would not go anywhere else. I had just had my 2010 Civic for one year and I got a call from a sales representative telling me about a program that they have to trade in my car for a 2011. My boyfriend and I test drove a few cars and decided on the Civic EX and when it came to talking price everything was explained thouroughly. Casey went above and beyond to help us reach our price point. When it was time for financing Virginia made it so easy for us to get all the options we wanted for a few dollars more a month! This was my second time buying a car at Honda of El Cerrito and it won't be my last! I highly recommend this dealership to any car buyer, especially a first timer! More
I purchased my Civic and have it serviced here. I tried service @ Dublin Honda because I live there but they did the hard sales and sold me on service that I didn't need by not being very honest. Prior to visiting, I was able to quickly secure an extremely competitive price on a 2011 Honda Civic EX coupe in red over the phone from Elsa(?). When we arrived, the car was placed directly in front of the showroom for us. The agreed upon price was honored and both Albert and Paulina worked diligently and energetically to get us out the door as fast as possible. When matters of insurance arose, the dealership was flexible in the interest of getting us on our way. Everyone was friendly, polite and professional. I honestly do not think there was anything else that we could have reasonably asked of Albert, Paulina and the dealership that was not provided. More

I purchased a new Honda Hybrid Insight in February 2006 and have had all the service done at this dealership since that time except for emergencies. There is actually a dealer closer to my home but my satisfaction with Honda of El Cerrito is such that I have not transferred my service needs. Service and Parts personnel all unfailing polite, friendly, and efficient. It is more expensive to service a hybrid than a standard vehicle (though I do not know why) so I'm less pleased with the pricing. I rated the overall experience of my last visit as only "good" since I must return to complete needed service since the part (battery) was not in stock. More
Ron was really helpful in trying to resolve my issue of the squeaking sound of my 2007 Honda Odyssey rear brakes.
