One year later I am happy to report that my husband and I are now proud owners of 2 Hyundia vehicles. The sales staff in Elgin, specifically Josh, worked hard to get us a deal that met our budget. While the process of buying a car is not always the fastest the team in Elgin kept us informed so we knew where in the process we were and never tried to rush us into a decision. I purchased a used car. And apparently because I saw it on the internet they tack on an extra $825. But the worst part of it is they never told me about it. So, when I went back in there to talk to them about he said that it is a standard policy to add it on the "internet purchases" for advertising. So pretty much I am paying for them to have an internet site up so that people can view the cars they have for sale. I do not recommend purchasing a car with Elgin Hyundai. They are snakes and will keep being snakes. More

I initially worked with the internet salesman Travis over the phone, he was very new and did not have all the answers however being the persistent person I am I put him through the paces and he was able to g the phone, he was very new and did not have all the answers however being the persistent person I am I put him through the paces and he was able to get the vehicle I wanted and all answers to my questions. In addition, without the dealership having even met me they did a dealer trade for a vehicle I had to have site unseen. I then went to the dealer the same day and worked with new car salesman Joshua Hastings referred by Travis. The car had to be brought from a different dealership therefore I would have to wait a day. That night I finalized paperwork and DID NOT put any money down. The next day my car arrived at the dealership and I went to pick it up. There were some cosmetic issues with the vehicle which were resolved immediately within 10 minutes of my noticing them. I drove home with the vehicle that night and love it. I bought the 2011 Hyundai Tuscon Limited, what an awesome vehicle. My experience with the salesman, Joshua Hastings was phenomenal and I would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in buying a Hyundai. More

I went to buy two used cars after Christmas 2010 and stood in the used car department for over 10 minutes without one single sales person in the showroom or adjoining offices. They said we will get someone so waited 7 minutes back in the used car department and finally walked out when nobody came. Their loss, i walked next door to Kia and bought two cars CASH for a no haggle price and i'm happy with my Kia's. I guess my money wasn't green enough for Elgin Hyundai's taste. More

They use classic “bait and switch” games to get people in the crappy, run down dealership. Went in to purchase a new suv. Ordered the suv(with deposit), waiting over a week for the vehicle to arrive. Got a call from dealership stating the vehicle was pre-sold. However it's the management that was at fault. Then there is talk about other customers in front of other customers. That's not real professional in my opinion. Then after I came back to to take delivery of a different vehicle, the accesories that were supposed to be included where not there. They tried to pull a fast one. I don't think I would ever step foot in that place again. Not even for a free car wash. They might try to scam me on that too. More

I bought a 2009 Sonata on Feb. 23. I love the car. When we got home, we looked at the ad online, and found it it was a "certified" Hyundai. All I want is the paperwork that tells me that this car is certified. 2 people have told me that the paperwork was on their desk and I would have it overnight. Toady is April 25th & I have yet to see it. Tomorrow I am going to Hyundai. I am absolutely sick of dealing with these people. Buy from somewhere else. More

is place totally sucks....i bought a used car there and since i was in a hurry to take the car the same day, they have given me a sheet that says things they owe.....they asked me to come after next week t since i was in a hurry to take the car the same day, they have given me a sheet that says things they owe.....they asked me to come after next week to get those things fixed....they took my car for a week or so and fixed only few things and said they have done it all.....when i checked the car on my way back home ..i saw a number of issues not addressed.....then wen i went back they said to come next week....after repeated calls and going to office.....they finally decided to get them fixed, few at their show room and few at another show room ...initially they agreed to pay the costs but when the payment was to be made they said they wont pay the amount....they started behaving like school kids hanging up the calls made by the show room service advisor...keeping calls on hold...not responding properly.....then finally after a lot of argument they agreed to pay but then at the cost of not fixing few other issues they have given me in the owe sheet....i have been cheated by these ppl...i would never ever recommend anyone to this showroom or any show room owned by blautogroup.....I also tried to contact general manger to see if he can address the issues but then I realized that it is just a waste of time and energy.... I would never set foot in this dealership again. We agreed on a price and upon me returning with a cashiers check made out to the dealer for the price agreed upon, the sales manager decided that they w agreed on a price and upon me returning with a cashiers check made out to the dealer for the price agreed upon, the sales manager decided that they were going to up the price of the vehicle by $300. We were so upset and aggrivated we walked out and went to another dealer a few towns over. Lucky for that dealer (Rosen Hyundai), we ended up purchasing two cars instead of one!
