Best Car Buying Experience Ever!!! On 09/20, I went into Elmwood Jeep as I was in the market for a new 2017 Grand Cherokee and overall had the most incredible car buying experience.... On 09/20, I went into Elmwood Jeep as I was in the market for a new 2017 Grand Cherokee and overall had the most incredible car buying experience.... What a professional, fantastic dealer as a whole with an extremely customer oriented team which made the whole experience quick and painless. I had initially started off sending an inquiry via the Web on 09/16 after a previous good experience my brother-in-law had when he purchased his Wrangler from Elmwood in 2012. Almost immediately heard from Jason Gilbault. He was professional, informative and extremely clear with pricing and rebate/incentive breakdown. He answered all my questions accurately and then followed up several days later to see if I had any questions. We subsequently setup an appointment for me to come in on 09/20 and I met with Dan Daily. Dan was great - he showed me the vehicle, we took a test drive and answered all my questions about the Jeep. Following the evaluation of my trade which came in exactly where I wanted it to - I proceeded to purchase the vehicle Vincent was quick with the paperwork and that day I drove home in my new Grand Cherokee. Overall, many dealers play games with pricing, incentives, and trade-in value (which I was very firm with what I wanted) - Elmwood was exactly the opposite. Everything was exactly as advertised, the team listened to my concerns, and frankly when the dreaded price negotiation time came and I told them what I wanted to pay they in a matter of minutes they came back with exactly what I asked for. There was no games/back and forth!!!! I actually sat there stunned for a moment as I had expected another response. After speaking with an visiting several other local dealers I had left for lack of honestly and professionalism.... Elmwood was exactly the opposite. I have to admit I'm rather demanding and not the easiest person and this group as whole just wow'd me on every front. They have gained a customer for life here and I will most-definitely recommend them to any and everyone I know looking for a truly exceptional customer experience!!!!! While we were waiting for Noel Tavares to finish the paperwork, Ben, Richard and I had some great conversation. Amazing experience!!! My husband was driving a 4dr wrangler as his daily driver which he couldn't continue to do as it was extensively modified. Although it was very sad for us, he decided to try and trade it in. Not sure of what we would get I took it around to several dealerships one day while he was at work. Initially thinking we were going to trade up simply for a newer jeep, I hit a few Jeep dealerships unsatisfied with the customer service and experiences I received. The last place I had planned to check out was Elmwood CDJR. I was greeted almost immediately and partnered up with Dan to assist me with my trade request. He was great from beginning to end!! He took the time to listen and understand what my needs were (I was very particular lol) He was honest without being condescending and most of all he was helpful. He had the Jeep looked at right away and we were talking numbers within the hour. If the new vehicle wasn't for my husband I probably would have drove off in it that day! However, my husbands very busy work schedule is what sent me on the hunt in the first place. So, he looked at a few Jeeps and then a few trucks, but decided he really liked the RAM 1500 and we both agreed that was a smarter choice for our family at this time. Two days later, on Saturday, he took the RAM for a spin and just loved it. We talked numbers and stuff over the weekend and picked up his new truck Monday night!!! Dan and ALL the staff at Elmwood made this process amazingly fast and smooth I really don't think it could have gone any better. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a car/truck or whatever and when we replace my car sometime over the next year or so, we will definitely be returning to Elmwood CDJR --- thanks guys!!!! Outstanding experience overall. Moved to RI last week from Ma and wanted to start fresh with a new Ram truck. I called the dealership and was fortunate to have Wayne Bland Jr. take my call, what a pro! I explained what I was looking for in a new Ram and the lease price target I wanted. We set up an onsite visit to look at and drive 2 Rams he had pre-selected and wisely put on hold. Both his choices met my criteria and after a short discussion decided on a black Ram 1500 Express. Wayne then went to work conferring with his manager and quickly came up with an offer that worked. No hassles, haggling or wasted time, just got right down to it. This was a Sunday and there were no Finance Mgrs. on duty. No problem. I spent Monday arranging insurance and returned to the dealership on Tuesday to sign up the deal and pick up the truck. Wayne came to my apartment to pick me up since I had no vehicle....what great personalized service. On Tuesday the signing experience with Noel Tavarez was fast and painless. Noel knows his job and has a great personality. He somehow knew I didn't want the pitch on the dealer "extras" and gladly bypassed that and we concluded quickly. Overall....great experience....this is how buying a vehicle should be.. More
