A 2011 Ford F350 XLT crew cab ... etc. They texted and asked for the VIN and some photos which I supplied. They told me it would be a trade in of about $15,000. I said I needed a little more than that and was told to drive down there and if the truck was clean they could probably do a little more. I rushed around and got my financing in place, took my other truck home, got the F350 and then drove 40 minutes to them. I showed up and within about 10 minutes the salesman Andy had a Black Book in hand and I knew I was about to get hosed. He said they thought my truck was a King Ranch, so it would be more like $11,000 to MAYBE $13,000 trade in. I sent them the description that said XLT. The VIN decodes to XLT. You can clearly see in the photos I sent that it's not a King Ranch .. yet here I was being low-balled because they thought my truck was something that they should have been able to confirm 3 different ways that it wasn't. A crew cab, long bed dually F-350 with under 100,000 miles and it's worth $11,000? There isn't one on the market with under 100,000 miles for less than $27,000. So I got my keys and left. What a waste of time, money and energy. I am very loyal when I find a good honest dealer. Instead of earning a lifelong customer, they are now getting a bad review for wasting my time and offering me next to nothing for my truck, while their vehicle is $3,000 over high book value but the price is firm. You need to do better. More
