My Review of Executive Dodge Jeep:
Please I beg you, do not buy a car from this place. I bought a Certified 2006 Jeep Commander Limited from them in February 2009 and it has been a nightmare ever since. They seem great up front but as soon as the deal was done it went all down hill from there. We agreed to buy the car but had some concerns and they assured us that they could take care of them. There were some scratches on the car that we wanted someone to try to buff out and a large scratch on the rear bumper that was very visible. It took bringing the car back to the dealership 4 different times to get this completely resolved, and I live more than an hour from where they are located. On top of that, as part of the Jeep Certified program, they are supposed to include two keys. Well they did include two keys but one of them was broken off at the part that attaches to a keychain. I brought this up to them and they said they could do nothing about it. After asking 4 more times, they finally said, well maybe we can fix it, let's give it to parts and see what they can do. Three months later after still not receiving the key and being assured over and over again that it had been mailed out, I wanted to know what they were going to do about it. They said "Nothing" and that they were not "required by law to provide a second key." UNBELIEVABLE. Finally, from the very beginning I noticed that the front brakes squeaked considerably and I brought that up as well. They had the service department look at it one of the multiple times I brought it back and said that everything looked fine, they "reset" the brakes and it was fixed. Well it wasn't fixed, and the next time I brought it in to my local Jeep dealership for regular service, I asked them to look at it. They said if they had sold me the car, they'd replace them at no charge. So I went back to Executive Jeep and told them I wanted it fixed. For once they actually agreed to do something, but of course only after having driven the car for three months with squealing brakes. I hope no one else has to go through the amount of frustration and anger that I went through with these complete morons. Once again, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM EXECUTIVE JEEP DODGE OF WALLINGFORD.
