I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Faulkner Nissan Jenkintown and Nissan regarding ongoing transmission issues with my vehicle. My car began experiencing serious transmission proble Faulkner Nissan Jenkintown and Nissan regarding ongoing transmission issues with my vehicle. My car began experiencing serious transmission problems while driving, including jerking, failure to shift properly, inability to drive over 20 mph, and eventually only going in reverse. The vehicle was towed to the dealership, kept for several days, and I was told nothing was wrong. Shortly after picking it up, the same dangerous issues happened again and the check engine light returned. The car was towed back a second time, and I was later told a transmission component needed replacement. Even after the repair was completed, the exact same problems continued the very same day I picked the vehicle up. What is most frustrating is being told by the service manager that he wanted to replace the entire transmission, but Nissan would not approve it and would only approve replacing a part instead — despite the vehicle continuing to fail repeatedly. I was also denied a loaner or rental vehicle multiple times, even though I was told my warranty includes rental coverage. Instead, I was told to pay out of pocket and wait for reimbursement while still making payments on a car that is unsafe and unreliable to drive. At this point, my vehicle remains parked outside my home because I do not feel safe driving it. This situation has caused major financial hardship, stress, and transportation issues. I expected much better customer service, communication, and support from Nissan and this dealership. More
