I have a Lincoln/Ford dealer 3 miles from my house. I have always received great service there, so naturally when I was ready to trade I went there first. They had no cars. No new and no used. So I went online for a search of what I thought I wanted. I found one advertised at Fiesta in Mesa. That is about 200 miles from my house so I called to insure it was still there if I made that drive up to test drive it. It was. I went up and met the Lincoln salesman, John Halter . That experience was unlike ANY other car buying experience I have ever had. Not once did he ask me how much I wanted to spend... or what I wanted to keep my payment at. No. He asked questions about how I use a car... long distance, or locally. What's the top things most important to me in a car. He found the car that was best suited to me - even though it was not necessarily the one I was there looking for. He showed me the one I came to look at, and explained why the other one would be best suited for me. It was even less money than the first one. (not much, but still... he wasn't trying to sell me the most car he could) He always maintained a calming demeanor and "negotiations" were easier than I have ever had. Then AFTER the sale, he took so much time showing me exactly how everything in this car worked. And on the newer Lincolns - that's a LOT. Moreover, he took MY phone and recorded 5 different videos showing me exactly how to work everything - seats, lights, wipers, radio, nav systems, all the components, and all the "driving assist" and etc... just EVERYTHING. When I left I felt confident in operating things well enough to make that 200 mile drive home. I spent the next 3 days watching and re-watching those videos. What is really nice is that they are on my phone - not a website. So If I am stranded in the middle of now where and get an error message or need to make an adjustment, I can find out what to do. I don't need internet or even cell service! Honestly, I have gotten frustrated with things a couple times and texted him. His calming demeanor immediately "talked me off the ledge" (so to speak). Buying a car from John made me feel like I had a big brother taking care of me (given my age I guess that would be a grandson... LOL) But this has totally restored my faith in car dealerships. I think EVERY dealership should use John's model for dealing with people. Perhaps he should be the teacher for all Lincoln sales staff. and... by the way I will spare you the details, but I purchased a car I thought I wanted 4 days before this experience and the more I drove it the less I liked it. By the time I got to Fiesta I wanted nothing more than to get one I DID want. John REALLY stepped up and got that job done. I love my new car now. The more I drive her the more I love her. My husband and I had a very nice relationship with Fiesta Lincoln going on 15 years. We bought two cars from them. When Al the Service Mgr. and a Service Administrator working for the Service Mgr. arrived ev Lincoln going on 15 years. We bought two cars from them. When Al the Service Mgr. and a Service Administrator working for the Service Mgr. arrived everything went south. They refused me service when I was stuck out 30 miles from my home. I had a service contract, they were very short, not helpful and ugly with me, I just lost it.I had a $100.00 car that I had bought from Fiesta and they wouldn't honor the contract. They just said it was up to me how I got home if my car was hauled off by their Wrecker Service. More

After a very unacceptable experience at another dealership in town, I was extremely hesitant to purchase a car from an out of town dealership. (The other dealership promised the car I wanted would be waiting for me - I drove two hours down from Prescott and they claim they had sold it by mistake right before I arrived). After explaining this experience to Gary Johnson, he took extra steps to make sure that the Lincoln I was interested in would be there upon my arrival. It was! The entire experience, from start to finish, was efficient, easy, and actually enjoyable. Gary made me feel as if he truly cared about my reasons for wanting the car, and worked with the finance department to secure a much lower interest rate than I was expecting to get. Gary is warm, friendly, professional, and funny - exactly what you want in a car sales professional. I highly recommend him without reservation. More

The salesman couldn't have been nicer and more patient even though we weren't driving or buying that day. After receiving poor treatment at another local Lincoln dealer (supposedly the top selling one), we were even more committed to try to work with the staff at Fiesta. On our return visit we worked with another salesman, Gary, who was equally patient, professional, and courteous. Gary met us on his day off when we returned to pick up the car. It was beautifully shined and detailed and he spent a great deal of time going through all of the features making sure I was comfortable and aware of all of the gadgets. Rare nowadays to receive such attention and customer service. It was a pleasant negotiating and purchasing experience and we LOVE the new car we purchased from Fiesta. More
