My Review of Fowler Toyota:
The sales guy, David B., was great. The finance people are there to RIP YOU OFF. They made me wait for about 1 1/2 hours, and in retrospect I feel as if they did it simply to wear me down and make me sign anything to get out the door. It's my own damn fault for signing anything when I was tired, but BEWARE -- Do NOT agree to any additions to your agreed-upon sales price. The finance guy said, "For an extra $8 per month, you can get all this coverage." He was LYING. It turned out to be an additional 35% over the sales price, and I feel as if I was totally screwed. I have a graduate degree, and I'm an intelligent person, but I was tired and felt like I was completely taken advantage of. I had bought three previous cars from Fowler, but it is NOT the dealership that it used to be, and I will NEVER return. The moral of the story is, do NOT believe them when they say it's just a few extra dollars per month. They are going to rip you off and make you pay hundreds for extras that do not make a lick of difference in the quality of the deal -- it is totally a case of "additional dealer profit." I will never buy another car from them again, and they are no better than the slimiest bad-suit-wearing, corner-parking-lot, lemon-selling rip-off joints on this planet. FOWLER TOYOTA SUCKS!!!!!
