Reason for Visit: Sales (New)

I recommend this dealer: Yes

My Review of Freedom Toyota:
Ok, so I left the other 10 or so Toyota dealers from PA, MD, to NY and found this one in the nick of time. They gave me the new car 1k over invoice, not great, but not bad either. They gave me next to carmax pricing for my trade and I got to unburden myself of my horrible nissan product. I drove off the lot the same day. Everyone was great, except the one man who didn't say hello to me when I arrived on the lot. I hate that! The woman I worked with is a newbie, so people are in support of her sales. She has a great personality and worked with me while I test drove 4 cars and carried around my preschooler. The experience was not daunting and while I always feel I should/could have gotten a better deal, I am not sad.

Reason for Visit: Service

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of Freedom Toyota:
I had my car towed there because my car would not go into gear. One of the service people told me that I needed a whole new transmission which would cost around $1600. So I told him about my 10 year powertrain warranty. He said he would discuss it with the manager and get back to me. So they called me and said they would fix it under warranty. It took them 10 days to fix it. When I get the car back my steering assembly was making clunking noises when I turned the steering wheel and the clutch pedal was making a clunk noise when I released it and my brakes were making loud squeeling noises while driving without even braking. I did not have any of these three new problems before my car was towed to them. I was afraid to take it back to them for fear that they would mess up other things or keep me waiting even more weeks without my car. It cost $875 to replace my steering shaft at another place. I still have a clunk noise when I release the clutch pedal. I am very upset about what their service department did to my car.
