I purchased a vehicle in the beginning of July. Since purchase, I have needed to fix the brakes and rotors, and it is currently back in the shop for an engine repair. In addition to this, the deale Since purchase, I have needed to fix the brakes and rotors, and it is currently back in the shop for an engine repair. In addition to this, the dealership was supposed to handle my license plates and registration, which they have not yet. I have called three times about my issues. Regarding the mechanical issues, they said there is nothing they can do because the 30 day warranty ended. According to them, the warranty begins when I place my initial deposit, not when I leave the lot with the vehicle. This is a very misleading warranty, and against industry norms. I did not actually take possession of the vehicle until 5 days after I placed the deposit. Regarding the registration issues, they have been anything but helpful. Three different people said they would call me back, and not one did. To anyone reading this, please ignore the positive reviews - many were placed before ownership changed. Overall, avoid this place. Go somewhere else to buy a vehicle. More
On June 24,2025 I was contacted by a salesman from their sister dealership about a vehicle I was interested in. He told me the vehicle is not at their dealership but had someone reach out to me from Mitsubi sister dealership about a vehicle I was interested in. He told me the vehicle is not at their dealership but had someone reach out to me from Mitsubishi freehold. Later that day I received a call from minus youseff about this vehicle and said I was very interested but wanted to know if he could get my payment where I needed it to be. He requested my paystub and credit info and said he could get me a good deal. Multiple times I asked could he run numbers prior to me arriving due to the dealership was not that local to me and I wanted to save time. He kept insisting he could get me where I needed to be and that i would need to leave a deposit on the vehicle for them to hold it due to me not being able to come look at the vehicle til Friday evening and we were speaking on Tuesday evening. I told him I didnt want to have to leave a deposit and was hesitant but he insisted it is to hold the car so it doesnt sell before then and that its refundable. So he took a $500 deposit over the phone. That Thursday I reached back put to him requesting a refund of my deposit due to having time to think it over and felt it was best for me to hold off. He insisted he could get me a really good deal but said sure no problem he will issue the refund. The next day I still did not see it showing back in my bank account so I reached back out and asked again for my refund to be issued. He responded with no problem sir. The next day on Saturday it was still not showing so I called the dealership and was told accounting is in on Monday..So I called back on Monday and then was told refunds could take up to 10days. After several days almost 30days later and multiple calls to the dealership and being told they will find out what's going on and get back to me I still have not been issued my refund. In my car buying experiences in the past I have always been issued any type of refund and it showing pending and back in my account the next business day. The fact that my refund has not been issued and Noone is making this a priority to make sure it gets refunded after 30days is down right criminal and unethical. Buyers beware dealing with this dealership because if they can do this to me they will do this to anyone. More
Don't do business with this dealership, they have my worst nightmare with them. This is my story: I went to the dealership for a 2023 Toyota Camry, we had the contract and I put in a $1000 deposit and t worst nightmare with them. This is my story: I went to the dealership for a 2023 Toyota Camry, we had the contract and I put in a $1000 deposit and they told me I can pick up the car next day. I called before go they told me the car was not ready and it would be ready Wednesday, on Wednesday, they told me Friday. After Friday, I called many times each day they don't even pick up the call. If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Freehold Mitsubishi has been nothing short of a nightmare. This dealership is the textbook definition of dishonest, unethical, and My experience with Freehold Mitsubishi has been nothing short of a nightmare. This dealership is the textbook definition of dishonest, unethical, and predatory. In Feb 1, 2025 , I purchased a used Mercedes-Benz from this location. Isiah, the sales rep, assured me the car was in excellent condition, passed all inspections, and had no major issues. George, the manager, backed up these claims and promised the car came with a 30-day limited warranty for peace of mind. That was all a lie. Within hours of driving off the lot, the vehicle displayed multiple critical issues: Check engine light Cylinder misfire Traction control failure Blind spot assist malfunction EVAP leak Oil leaks A shorted ECM We returned the car multiple times for repairs, and each time the dealership either downplayed the problems or failed to fix them properly. The car was ultimately returned to us in worse shape than when we bought it. And when my attorney sent a formal demand letter, the dealership ignored it completely—further proving they have no interest in resolving issues or taking accountability. To add insult to injury, Freehold Mitsubishi appears to be deleting or burying negative reviews, silencing customers who speak the truth. That’s not just unethical—it's dangerous to future buyers. Isiah and George misrepresented the vehicle, misled us throughout the process, and left us with over $10,000 in repair costs on top of the $10,000 we paid for the vehicle. We were sold a defective car under false pretenses, and now they refuse to respond, refund, or take any responsibility. Do not believe anything this dealership tells you. Get everything in writing. Have the car independently inspected. And then walk away. There are plenty of honest dealerships out there—this is not one of them. We’ve reported Freehold Mitsubishi to the BBB, FTC, NJ Consumer Affairs, NJ MVC, and multiple media outlets. We won’t stop until they’re held accountable for what they’re doing to customers. More

The Company FREEHOLD Mitsubishi- Di an entire Contract with me for a 2018 BMW 750i - took my funds of $2500 plus tax, said I was approved, had me get insurance on the car, and I also talked to the Bank GL with me for a 2018 BMW 750i - took my funds of $2500 plus tax, said I was approved, had me get insurance on the car, and I also talked to the Bank GLS Financial that agreed to the contract telling me what my payments would be- and then on day of Car delivery- 06/04/2025 a man by the name of Luis Cubi sent me a bogus message stating I couldn't receive the vehicle because my place of work couldn't be verified- I told him that they may have called the wrong post office, sent him a screenshot of the actual Google number to my job which I had gave them- he claimed it wasn't real- although it's definitely Official* *. And said he wasn't gonna give me a refund because it fraud* but he never could tell me my supervisors name or Any info about my job at all. It's as if they didn't even call the number*- they just wanted to keep my money. He'd even called while I was on my mail route and heard me closing mailboxes in the background. And refused to call the number to see for himself that's it's an actual Post Office that I work for. I can't believe this company. I have a copy of the signed contract showing the amount ($2500) placed down. More
