Horrible service! Arrived 15 min early for my appt. Sitting in my car for nearly 10 min before anyone came out to check me in. They made some excuse why it took so long. Had a 10:15 an appt got my car back at 12:16 pm. No inspection and no car wash just bad service. This is not the first I left angry about bad service. Terrible management. Won’t return my calls. Will keep trying until I speak with management. More

While traveling through Albuquerque on the way to Minnesota my ignition switch quit working and left me stranded at a fuel stop. Called Garcia's and they put me in touch with Honda Roadside Assistanc Minnesota my ignition switch quit working and left me stranded at a fuel stop. Called Garcia's and they put me in touch with Honda Roadside Assistance, the Roadside Assistance was no help at ALL. Got a hold of a towing service and got towed to Garcia's, it was close to 6:00 PM. Service Advisor Izze Gambino was expecting me, he had been talking with my wife about my situation. He explained possible causes of the problem and what might have to be done and gave me an estimate. He even gave me a ride to a motel I had booked. The next morning he called about 1hr after they had opened and described what had be found and the what it would take to fix it. Later that afternoon it was fixed !!! He gave me a # to call for a shuttle to the dealership. Got there my Ridgeline was ready and the charges were less than the original estimate !!! I know I was put ahead in the service line because I was traveling and that was deeply appreciated. I have to say Thank You to Garcia's and to Izze Gambino in particular. More
In 2013 I feel I made a mistake buying a maintenance agreement for my Honda accord. It has been more of an aggravation than alternative ways to get a car serviced and cost more than alternative busines agreement for my Honda accord. Service has always taken longer than it should and there are almost always high-priced additional services suggested. This week I made an appointment for an oil change using one of the remaining visits allowed on the agreement. The appointment was for 10 AM. I arrived on time expecting to just wait the normal 45 minutes to an hour to get the 20 minute service completed. I learned that the oil change would take 2 1/2 hours because the technicians were busy. I feel if a dealer makes an appointment with a customer, the requested service should begin on or near the time of the appointment. I had to make arrangements to get a ride home and back. Instead of being on my way by 10:45 as expected, I was inconvenienced for over 3 hours. The service manager was polite and offered several reasons why Garcia does business this way. I just don't agree with this manner of doing service. The method is designed to maximize dealer profit at the expense of customer satisfaction. More
Was I swindled? My advisor CC quoted me $1300 for 4 repairs to be done on my Fit then 10 min later he calls back saying he and the parts department misquoted me My advisor CC quoted me $1300 for 4 repairs to be done on my Fit then 10 min later he calls back saying he and the parts department misquoted me and it would actually be $2100! I was ready to cancel 1-2 of the repairs but then he says he can help me out by giving me a discount which lowered the quote to $1650. I reluctantly agreed, foolishly trusting him. A few weeks later I get a letter from Garcia Honda indicating their responsibility to recommend needed service. There were about 8 recommendations that included 3 of the 4 repairs I paid $1650 for! CC never made recommendations nor did he point them out at the end of my invoice! I looked at my invoice more closely, and there was no $350 discount! Instead, at the back page of the invoice were the very same 8 recommendations with a total of about $2100! It sure looks like CC quoted me that total then to make it look like a discount, he tells me the actual amount of $1650. I emailed the service manager AN giving all the details and asking for $350 refund. He actually emailed me back saying he wanted to meet with me. I told him my availability but I never heard back. Instead, a few days later I get another recommendations letter from Garcia Honda but this time, there are only 5 recommendations - none of my 3 repairs are on there. And I still have not heard back from service manager AN. I guess that was my answer. Do not go to Garcia Honda for service, CC will take advantage of you and AN will do nothing about it. More
Do not recommend this dealership. Bought a 100 month battery from Garcia Honda. At 36 months it stopped holding a charge. I called to ask about a replacement, guess what ? Instead was told there isn't a warranty because they didn't install it. Walmart, AutoZone, Oriellys, all honor the battery warranty. Disappointing that a long time Albuquerque company would behave in such a poor manner. Truly no longer has good values or operates with integrity. Headed back to driving Toyotas. More
I will never use Garcia Honda for Service on my 2021 Ridgeline. If I could I would rate them Negative 10000000!. Worst service I have ever had. Left several messages for Andrew Neufeld regarding the issue and NEVER got a call back. We left messages for the Sales Manager - Michael McKinnon and he NEVER called us back. Here is my story: We bought a 2021 black edition Ridgeline from a dealer in Frisco Texas on March 20, 2021. The truck came with two items we requested(running boards, and all weather matts. The Truck also came with a Tonneau cover. The Tonneau cover was not in any documentation and was not charged for in the deal. We assumed they got the truck transferred from another dealer as it only had 20 miles on the odometer when we took delivery. We moved to Edgewood, NM on Feb 26, 2022. I have taken my truck to Garcia a few weeks ago for an oil change. All was well with their service for that instance. Last week my Tonneau cover would not open properly. I took it to Garcia on Tuesdayn May 31st. My service adviser Tristan was very helpful. He stated Garcia Honda would replace the Tonneau cover at no cost. Just as they pulled my truck away to get the replacement Tonneau cover installed Tristan came to me and said they would need proof that we paid for the Tonneau cover with David McDavid in Frisco, TX. Again, The cover was already on the truck when we took delivery. There was no documentation on it being installed. WE contacted the dealer in Frisco and spoke to the General Manager - Sonia Heredia and she was very empathetic to our issue. She contacted the Garcia service department (Ryan). She told us that she explained to Ryan that the Tonneau cover should be covered under warranty. From what we are being told Andrew Neufeld is the reason it is not being replaced by Garcia Honda. Today we took our truck to another Honda dealer in the area and they have ordered the replacement cover at NO CHARGE!!!! with no problem at all. Again. Poor service from the service mangers at Garcia Honda, and VERY VERY poor service from ALL sales and General Managers at Garcia Honda... Not even the courtesy of a return phone call. I would rather drive an extra 30 minutes to go to another Honda Dealer, and I will from now on. I realize all Honda dealers are privately owned and operated. It really shows with Garcia Honda and their entire sales and service department. ZERO ZERO ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!! More
On 4-23-22, I dropped off my Honda Civic at 9 am at Garcia Honda in Albuquerque for the 100k mile service. It took them 7 hours to call me back. Shortly after leaving Garcia Honda, my vehicle dashboard started showing every possible warning message. See pictures attached, along with the service report. Over 6 years, I have regularly maintained my Honda there as I strive to keep the car for many years to come. I do not understand why a pristine vehicle can be left in the hands of individuals like Christian Coriz, according to the multipoint inspection report, the technician assigned to the 100k mile service. No quality control, no workmanship, no pride. When I returned to the dealership, it was closing, and despite the hours posted on the web, there was nothing that could be done until Monday. This is completely unacceptable & infuriating. I depend on my vehicle for daily work. I dropped off a pristinely maintained car & it was returned in shambles. The engine makes a strange noise and the car has lost power; possible turbo disconnection. I don't really know and I am not supposed to. What I know is that I want my vehicle in perfect order ASAP More
Exceptional professionalism and customer care at this dealership! I was traveling through Albuquerque when the check engine and tire pressure lights came on. I called the other Honda dealerships and no one had time till next week. I spoke to Mr. Armando Alvarez and he spoke to his manager to make an exception to take me in. Once at the dealership Armando took care of complex service contract calling as this dealership did to directly worked with my maintenance contract company. He got the car washed for free and took care of two nails in the rear tire. He was exceptionally professional about all of the process and continued to inform me while I waited at the dealership. The entire work was completed in less than 90 minutes and everything was taken care of. I usually don't have such amazing experience at any of the Northern Virginia dealerships. I think you guys have great people working for you. I can only thank you for hiring such great folks. More
