Salesman seemed genuine; final sales rep was a bit pushy but honored my decision in the end. I received a slight discount due to dealer not having vehicle color I preferred. I do not believe I was offered the best value on my trade in and was not able to take advantage of the military discount as a military spouse, due to what we were told was VW policy, although my husband is a 28 year active duty veteran. Overall, I don't think it was a bad deal, but I know I could have gotten my payments under $500/month with a better trade in offer and military discount, especially with my 800+ credit score. More
