My wife took HER car in for an oil change. She was waiting for her car in the lobby, which her service tech was well aware of. Instead of telling her the car needed a new air filter and cabin She was waiting for her car in the lobby, which her service tech was well aware of. Instead of telling her the car needed a new air filter and cabin filter they sent a text to me. They didn’t trust her to look at the filters and know that they were dirty??? I was out of town and didn’t see the text until 3 hours later. So I had to go buy a filter the next day. They didn’t even close the filter cover! How very chauvinistic of her service tech. My wife probably knows more about cars than most people who get their cars serviced there. Very disappointed that they didn’t change the filters while the car was there for service. All they had to do was just ask my wife. More
Braden is an awesome service Technician he told me what Kia would cover and they did it at no cost to me! the new Engine was put in while I was given a loaner car during the time needed! He is very thought Kia would cover and they did it at no cost to me! the new Engine was put in while I was given a loaner car during the time needed! Following an engine repair, they broke the engine splash shield and didn’t even reattach it on one corner. Despite being asked three times to make another warranty repair, they did not. Contacting them was very difficult as they didn’t pick up when called and only returned one call when they had my vehicle for two weeks. Very poor service. More

TLDR: I am considering trading in my used car purchase to another dealer and getting a different vehicle, especially if that means I never have to work with this dealership again. As someone who made a mu another dealer and getting a different vehicle, especially if that means I never have to work with this dealership again. As someone who made a multi thousand dollar purchase I would expect a certain level of customer service. I received the most low effort service when buying my used vehicle from Germain Kia. Then when the transmission error light came on less than two weeks into me owning the vehicle, I called to get the vehicle in for diagnostics and service and despite having purchased the extended warranty and service plan from this dealership, I was told I should instead be calling Honda. Finally things were resolved and I was told that person was wrong and I could bring my car back into the dealer and they would check it over. It turned out to need a whole new transmission. Thankfully this was covered under the 90 day dealer warranty. Unfortunately, I was now a mom of 3 now without a vehicle large enough to transport her children. (I was given a loaner but it was a bit pointless as I couldn’t use it to transport all of my kids and this caused all sorts of issues). Even more unfortunate was this went on for three weeks. I received next to no updates except when I called or emailed asking for them. I called on a number of occasions and was told someone would call me back and I would not receive a phone call back. The emails I received were incredibly unprofessional. When my vehicle was finally ready all I received was an email that said “your vehicle is ready for pickup”. No greeting, punctuation, nothing. I did not receive any sort of phone call. If I would not have seen this email I would not have known the vehicle was ready. And when I picked it up the service department attempted to pass the blame off to Honda who had to program the transmission (considering this only took a day or two out of the three weeks this absolutely was not their fault). More
