Wow, what a wonderful experience! This dealership, my salesman Joe Medina and the management team bent over backwards to make sure that I got a great deal on a great used Avalon. The service was impeccible and they made it so easy for me it was almost scary. I've been running around ever since talking about how amazing this dealership is now and how they have overcome the problems and the bad customer service of the past. All I can say to the whole team there is THANK YOU!!!!!

My wife and I went to Germain Toyota of Sarasota to learn about their Toyota Exchange Program. Well we had a tremendous experience. Shane Eagan handles all the process and at the end, I exchanged my 2010 Toyota Corolla for a brand new 2012 Toyota Corolla. Shane was very professional and courteous and he knows car sales business. I recommend to everyone who wants to buy a car, to come first to Germain Toyota of Sarasota and ask for Shane, he will answer all you your questions and offers you good prices on the cars you are looking for.

My Review of Germain Toyota of Sarasota:
Price of car was good but shattered by a $699.90 'Dealer Fee' which they said is required by all dealers even employee purchases and could be higher for high end vehicles. I was certain they were lying and it was proven by my neighbor who purchased a new car the same day and did not pay a dealer fee. Car had staining on trunk from tree dropping. Dealer would not buff it out, they only washes their cars. Sales person told me I could buy colored car wax to blend it in. It rained later that day and the rain water beaded as thought the entire car was waxed. It appears the dealer attempted to buff it out and waxed the car. I purchased due to a tight timeframe and would have continued looking, time provided. Car was a good deal but disappointed on how they kept saying how focused they were to customer service but failed to be honest with the trunk staining and the dealer fee.

This was a situation where we attempted to locate a vehicle for the customer at another dealership but they would not allow us to do a dealer trade without having the exact vehicle to replace it with. Being a small dealership, this was not possible. Unfortunately, our staff did not handle our communications with the customer properly. While this has not been pleasant to hear, we have used this experience as a learning tool for our entire staff. Teaching them how to handle similar situations in the future.

Marcos Dias told me, "I don't sell cars, I help people find the car that suits them." I thought this to be very profound. He was most sincere, delightful to work with and very professional. Matt Lingerfelt was extremely knowlegable and efficient. Vlas Kalantsis worked behind the scenes to make this used car purchase very pleasurable.

My Review of Germain Toyota of Sarasota:
Linda and went to Germain Toyota in Sarasota to buy the Avalon that we had leased for the past five years. We met Mike Hyndman, and with the help of Managers Bruce Christianson and Vlas, we purchased the car with a loan at a very low interest rate.

When we were returning to finish the paperwork, we looked at a Solara and soon negotiated a good price for it with Mike. David Sullivan found an even lower interest rate for us on this car.

I have purchased many cars, and this is my first really good car-buying experience. I took a number of business cards from Mike Hyndman because I will be recommending him to anyone talking car buying.

My Review of Germain Toyota of Sarasota:
I brought my van in for pre-trip maintenance and oil change. There were four vehicle already in line at the service door, but Robert was at my window before I shifted into park. I gave him a list of my needs and joined other customers in the comfy waiting room. For the time I was in the waiting room I noticed how well the other customers were handled by each of the service reps. Almost like family.
Since the inspection turned up an extra service item on my van, I was offered a ride home so I could get other business done. About 2 hours later I got a phone call saying they would pick me up for transport back to the shop.
On the whole I was very satisfied with the mechanical service, customer service and price. I can sincerely give everybody I met at Germain high recommendations, a pat on the back and a Gold Star.
