My Review of Germain Toyota of Sarasota:
This is pretty simple- I went to Germain looking for a Sport RAV4 with the new rear door w/o spare tire. Ray Caputo told me straightfaced that they weren't available and wouldn't be for probably a year because ALL of the other RAV4s had to be sold first. I mentioned that I had been told one was available at Ft. Myers Toyota and he told me that if they said they had one, they were lying.

Less than a week later and I'm picking up my new RAV4 sport in Ft. Myers. Who is the liar, Ray?

My Review of Germain Toyota of Sarasota:
Stay away from Germaine. They use every trick in the book to get you into a car you do not want nor can you afford. The salesman was decent enough in the beginning, but when he brought in his General Manager for preowned cars, things became very uncomfortable. The GM was pushy, condescending, and a manipulative. They did not have the car I wanted on the lot and instead of trying to find the car I wanted to buy, tried to talk me into buying first one than another car I had not interest in buying. The GM gave me boldly inaccurate information about gas millage and performance and kept pushing, pushing, pushing. When I consistently and politely turned him down GM became pretty rude. It was difficult to get out of the office without becoming rude myself.

Run don't walk away from Naples Germain Toyota. They actually STOLE my wifes trade in. They said she needed a down payment on a new lease, and that they would take he trade in as as that payment. But they never took it off the price of the car.She signed the paperwork in good faith and now it's TOO LATE. THIEFS

My Review of Germain Toyota of Sarasota:
Took my car in to get some accessories installed. Everyone I spoke to were great, their pricing was decent...but there's one exception: when I got my car back, I had a 4" long scratch on my passenger door and the plastic pillar part of the same door had 2 gouges in it.

I wouldn't recommend going to Germain as of now. Go to Gettel, even if pricing is higher, I've never had my car scratched by them.

My Review of Germain Toyota of Sarasota:
On 08/25/06 my wife, older son, and I visited this dealership. The sales person was nice and respectful to us. We were buying two cars. After test driving them we went inside the dealership to buy the two cars. everything was going well until the manager came over. He talk about the cars and pricing. This went on for a hour or so. Then it begain, with a smile on his face he started to disrespect us, he was rude and insulting. He try to sale us what he wanted not what we do. Then he said and I guote,"Champagne taste on a beer budget". This is why I rated them this way.

My Review of Germain Toyota of Sarasota:
Absolutely the worst sales experience I ever had at a dealership. Extreme high-pressure tactics - all the cliches were used. The salesman's response to every question was to scream &quot;Free tires for life!&quot;, whatever the hell that had to do with my question.<br>Literally tried to prevent me from leaving by standing in the door.. I really wanted the 4Runner, but could not buy from a nut case like that.
