Extremely Disappointed - Sold My Vehicle to Someone Else I was purchasing a 2024 Cadillac XT4 Premium Luxury and was told the vehicle would be detailed for me to pick up. I committed to buying this vehicle and was waiting for the agreed-upon preparation to be completed. While I was waiting to pick up the car I had committed to purchase, the dealership sold it to another buyer. I received no communication about this until I followed up to arrange pickup. This is unprofessional business practice. When a customer commits to a purchase and the dealer agrees to prepare the vehicle, there's an expectation of good faith on both sides. Selling the vehicle out from under a committed buyer shows a lack of integrity and respect for customers. I understand dealerships need to move inventory, but honoring commitments to customers should be the baseline standard. I cannot recommend this dealership based on this experience and would caution others to get everything in writing with a deposit down before trusting verbal agreements. What could have been different: A simple phone call explaining the situation or honoring the commitment to the first buyer would have been the professional approach. More
