My Review Of Glenview Mitsubishi:
I bought a used car that I saw advertised on ebay. I made the deal over the phone, buying this car as is. The salesman said there was nothing wrong with the car.
I did not look at the car. They said they could title this car in PA for me. I sent them a Bank check for the full amount to cover the purchase price, my PA sales tax and shipping to PA. They later found out they could not take out the PA sales tax and sent me a check for that amount, after I reminded them.
They received my payment in full on 12-13-12. They said they would have the car to me within one week.
I received the car on 12-24-12, it had a tire that was almost flat and an error message came on when you started the car that said that it was unsafe to drive.
I asked them about it they said that the car had no problems, and went through their shop.
When the car was delivered, the title was not with it. On Wed. 12-26-12 I called the Dealership and talked with a receptionist. I said I needed the title overnighted to me. The receptionist talked with Sebastian, who told him that I should receive the title within a week. I told him that I needed the title because I actually wanted to drive the car, not put Christmas lights on it.
I received the title the next day, but the dealership had signed it in the wrong place. I had to send it back to the Dealership. When I was on the phone with Rob the manager Thursday night, 12-27-12, and asked him what he was going to do about this he said to me " You have to understand my position, all I can do is say I am sorry".
Since I wanted to have a legally registered car to drive, I sent the title back to the Dealership. They received in on Friday at 9:19AM.
I received the correctly signed title on Monday 12-31-12. I had to pay PA sales tax tax on the full amount of the invoice, including my 6% sales tax, and the hauling charge, since they wrote up the invoice wrong, and did not itemize all the charges.
This Dealership treated me like it was a one time transaction, and I lived half the way across the country. Which is what it was and is where I am.
Very poor customer service, they could give a crap about me, once they had my money.
Lots of different people doing lots of talking and no accountability.
This was the worst car buying experience I ever had.
