My Review of Globe Mercedes-Benz:
I've had two preowned Mercedes and I have not had issues with either thus far. Globe has a great track record of performance with their Certified Pre-Owned cars. I highly recommend Scott as a service advisor. He's excellent with follow-up and extremely considerate. Jim Simon, who I recently purchased a car from is also A+++. I happened to come in the dealer after hours and my tire had shown signs of wear and was not drivable. I did not notice this. Being that I am 7 months pregnant, safety is of utmost important. Jim arranged a car for me despite the time (as the dealer was closed) and I had a very smooth transaction trading in my prior preowned car and was driving my new car Tuesday, of the following week.

Kudos to the Globe team for being on their game!

The nicest place to buy a car with service right there at the showroom so I can get the help of my salesman, and the sales manager is always around asking if eveything is ok when the service is great. The fresh brewed coffee,clean new loaner cars without the wait and the paperwork to slow me down. My family have all started going to Globe Mercedes Benz and getting very competive prices and lease deals along with the special services. They have there own car wash and pick up and deliver my car to me so I can stay in my office.

My Review of Globe Mercedes-Benz:
I had to mention this.. This SL is my first MB.. I've always only wanted one car and it has been the SL600. I guess I'm getting [old]er, but I had an experience that I just had to talk about. It's really more of a praise.<br><br>Situation: I buy my SL (pre-owned / used, etc) to see if I like it enough to buy a new one.. (I'm also not really into the new body style).. Well.. Anyway, 2 weeks into owning it, I realize I need new brakes. So, I take it to Nanuet MB (the closest dealer to me), but not the one I bought my SL from.. <br><br>So I need new brakes all the way around.. I drop off the car and get my loaner.. yadda yadda.. I get home and Joe Bell, the sales guy that sold me my SL (from Globe Mercedes in Fairfield, NJ) calls me just to ask about whether I'm happy with the car.. I tell him that the car is in the shop for new brakes.. He tells me I should have called him and he would have taken care of it. Well.. I'm already halfway into the new brake job at the Nanuet Dealer.. So Joe calls Nanuet with me and tries to convince them NOT to charge me for the brakes (and a Lateral Acceleration Sensor that was faulty). Well.. Nanuet doesn't wanna budge so Joe gets his Service Manager (from Globe) to call the service manager at Nanuet.. They negotiate a $250.00 discount for me and a few days later, I get a fedex in the mail from Globe with a letter and a coupon for a FREE major service for my car. (Retail Value $700.00)..<br><br>I don't think I've ever heard of an instance where service was that amazing.. Joe also sent me a pen (MB branded). It's a nice thought.. I've always had the belief that Car Dealers were scum, but Joe and Globe have really risen above the rest and have showed me that isn't always the case.<br><br>So basically, I wanted to point out a situation where a dealer salesperson and his dealership went above and beyond the call of duty.. Even for MB!!!<br><br>These guys are great and to tell you the truth, I'm going to buy my next car from him.. It's rare that a dealer and car salesman would ever go that far to satisfy a customer and I just felt it was important to point it out.<br><br>If anyone is considering buying an MB, I would suggest giving Joe a call.. He's definitely a cut above the rest. If you do buy an MB through Joe, let him know that &quot;Percy&quot; referred you.. I want him to know that his good deed was noticed..<br><br>Kudos to Joe Bell at Globe Mercedes in Fairfield, NJ..<br><br>Anyone have a similar experience with their dealer / sales person? I'd really like to know.. I don't believe this level of service is common.. but I'd love to hear the stories if anyone has any..<br><br>Cheers.<br><br>
