Got a Truecar online price (price for car/taxes/fees for about 23k). Got contacted by someone representing themselves as Truecar via text and then clarified with them that they work at Granbury Nissan. Sche about 23k). I drove over an hour to the dealership, inspected the car, test drove, and proceeded to give them my out the door offer which was only about $600 less than the quoted online price. They came back with a price that was 26-27k (significantly higher). They proceeded to tell me there were all sorts of fees etc (One fee alone was around $2500, about 12% the price of the car or 16-17 times the "dealer fee" on Truecar). I reminded them the quote said with fees (even says dealer fees). It was obvious they would not even honor the online quoted price. Drove another hour home. The dealership will probably respond saying that there are cost and fees not included in the online quote and in the fine print (that's what they tried to tell me at the dealership) but I want to remind them that the quote says with "taxes and fees" and even says "dealer fees”. If they say that it is an online 3rd party quote or something I want to remind them that their person represented themself as being with Truecar. Complete waste of time and gas. I would not recommend wasting your time dealing with this dealership that baits you in with lower prices online and tries to jack the prices up once you are on site. More
First of I want to say, I was sceptical about this dealership in town. When I got here it was nothing like what I had heard or read. It was a very plesant. Randy was warm and great with my family. He was great with the kids and did not get impatient with us. When we got back to finance Mo was amazing he educated us on some more of the finacial services. Needless to say we left with ease and comfort in our decision to purchase from Granbury Nissan depite what we were told. Definatly worth seeing for yourself. More
DO NOT BUY FROM GRANBURY NISSAN – They sold me a dangerous vehicle and couldn’t care less. I bought a used 2016 F-350 from Granbury Nissan just 5–6 months ago. Not even a week after the purchase, dangerous vehicle and couldn’t care less. I bought a used 2016 F-350 from Granbury Nissan just 5–6 months ago. Not even a week after the purchase, I noticed significant rust and corrosion underneath the truck. I immediately called them. They told me to bring it in — which I did — only for their team to brush it off and say everything was “just fine” and there was nothing to worry about. Fast forward to today: my truck is now sitting in the shop at Shottenkirk Ford needing over $4,400 in repairs. I’m talking about severely rusted suspension components, unsafe-to-drive brake rotors, cracked calipers, and damaged brake lines — issues that were clearly existing and dangerous long before I ever purchased it. According to the technician, this truck should have never passed inspection in the condition it was sold. I reached out again to Granbury Nissan, and the general manager straight-up denied everything. He claimed there was no record of me ever calling or bringing the truck in — even though I did. His response? That every shop is just trying to “sell me stuff” and that I “knowingly signed an as-is contract,” so they’re washing their hands of it. This isn’t just about money — it’s about trust and safety. I put my faith in this dealership, and they sold me a vehicle that could have put me and my family in serious danger. The condition of this truck wasn’t just cosmetic — it was a ticking time bomb. If this is how Granbury Nissan handles business, I wouldn’t trust them with a lawnmower, much less a truck. Shop here at your own risk — but if you value your safety, your money, and your peace of mind, I strongly urge you to go somewhere else.
